| Quote: | The Indianapolis Colts announced the addition of Hal Hunter and Tim Berbenich to their coaching staff today.
Hunter will serve as assistant offensive line coach under Joe Gilbert. Berbenich is the club’s offensive assistant. |
Hal Hunter replaces Harold Goodwin who followed Bruce Arians to Arizona. Hunter was the Chargers OL coach from 2006-2011 and OC in 2012.
Another interesting tidbit from the article | Quote: | | Hunter’s father, Hal Sr., coached the Colts offensive line 1982-84 and served as the team’s interim coach for the final game in 1984. |
Berbenich was previously in Tampa Bay from 20006-2011 as Asst RB coach, WR coach and Offensive Quality Control coach
It's hard to quantify how much impact an OC has on a team with an offensive minded coach. But he has a lot of OL experience especially working with the likes of Marcus McNeill, Nick Hardwick and Louis Vasquez <-- especially this one |
