Welcome to the FFMD '13 Roster Correction Thread. We will be posting the coplete Google Document Roster here as soon as it is complete. In the meantime, I'm calling upon all of you to review and update the rosters we are using.

http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/

(Make sure to review the 2013 cap hits in the following way:

http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/green-bay-packers/cap-hit/2013/

The above link lists the contracts and rosters we are using. They are likely not accurate or complete. So, what I am asking for is updates on missing players, inaccurate contracts, or special contract clauses that may impact the cap.

Please post in this thread for updates. I will underline any addressed issue. Please, only GM's, AGM's and Capologists post in this thread. To make sure this is orderly, please include your Team's Name in every post.

Thank you.

EZ

EDIT: Also, Bryan Bulaga is missing.

Two for now for the Vikings.

Michael Jenkins had his base salary reduced prior to this past season..

Quote:
Citing league sources, the station reported that the eight-year veteran reduced his 2012 base salary from $2.5 million to $1 million, and his 2013 salary from $2.5 million to $825,000.

Spotrac lists Kevin Williams as a free agent, but that's not so.

Quote:
Signed through 2014
DT Kevin Williams ($7.5 million)

Kevin Williams is on that sheet with an $8m cap hit, Jenkins hasn't been adjusted yet.

You may have been looking at the 2012 cap sheet.

You need to change 2012 on the url to 2013 as the site does not automatically provide links to the 2013 roster/cap list for each team.

They must have updated within the last two days. They had K-Will listed under 2013 free agents

Bulaga is listed on that one, and Saturday has been removed adjust the url to 2013 instead of 2012.

Will you be treating roster and option bonus as if they were guaranteed like signing bonuses? There's a couple of those on our roster (Walter, Daniels, K. Jackson, Cushing).

Stephen Mcgee, who was signed to a future/reserve contract, has not been given a salary by spotrac even though he is on their roster. It should be 715K I believe.

Nothing to do with our actual roster but spotrac has Troy Kropog listed as a RFA, but he's only got 1 accrued season and is listed as an ERFA by our beat writer.

Nothing major but:

Jojo Nicolas is on our cap even though he was waived back in May.

Steven Jackson's prorated signing bonus in 2013 was moved onto the 2012 cap. So that 1.89 million(I believe) is no longer on the 2013 cap.

They weren't last year. Roster and Misc bonuses aren't guaranteed. Signing bonuses are guaranteed

Which leads me to I presume we are also going include remaining years on the contract.

As an example......

http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/detroit-lions/nick-fairley/

Nick Fairley of the Lions
Base Salary = $1,274,000
Signing Bonus = $1,422,500
Cap Hit For FFMD = $2,696,500

Years Remaining On Contract = 2
Dead Money if Cut Or Traded = Signing Bonus x Remaining Years = $2,845,000

Are we also including dead money from previous players? Again using the Lions as an example

Dead
Douglas Hogue $67,500
Ronnie Sneed $2,500
J.C. Oram G $2,500
Derek Dimke $2,500
Michael Cosgrove $1,875

Total = $76,875

Eagles Corrections:

Brandon Boykin is listed twice. Though we would be happy to have his twin with the same name.

I'll put other corrections in here when I've taken a good look.

Your example is correct and Yes we are including dead money

I was thinking more with regards to hos spotrac prorates those bonuses. For example, Kevin Walter's contract had a roster bonus of 5 million in 2010 which spotrac prorates over the 5 years of his contract under the heading of Misc. Bonus. If roster bonuses are not counted as signing bonuses then his cap hit should be 1 million lower. As mentioned above, we have 4 contracts that fall under this scenario that should give us an extra 4.57 million in cap space.
