I keep jumping from topic to topic trying to read different thoughts on this i thought i would bring it into one to see what everyone thinks about this since it seems to be one of the big subjects of the offseason already.
My thoughts:
Why in the world would you trade the number 2 WR after we have all seen how hard it has been to find a #3 WR? The only way this makes any sense to me is if we blow it up and trade romo too. Which isnt happening. i dont understand the thinking behind "extend Romo...Trade Austin". Why would you take away one of the weapons a QB needs to be successful?
What are your thoughts maybe Im overlooking something? _________________

I don't mind trading him but I want a 2nd day pick or early 3rd day pick - he's worth more to us than a 4th round pick. _________________

I would trade him and Beasley for a 3rd if we could get high enough to draft Quinton Patton. _________________ A circle. The direction the Cowboys continue to travel. |

I agree with you, gofrogs.
- I wouldn't let him go for less then a mid 2nd. |

I would only trade him for no less than a mid 3rd. I think at this point, he has more value to us. Finding good WR's is a pain the you know what.
The next question is, is his contract tradeable? _________________

I think he is referencing the trade Beasley thing. He is like God here
On topic though, I think he is more valuable to us than what we would land in a trade. So for that reason, I would like to hang onto him. _________________

| I would definitely trade him for a 3rd, and probably even a 4th. I don't care how good a player CAN be! I hate having starters that can't stay on the field. It totally wrecks consistency and continuity, and I am a big proponent of both. Harris may not be as good as Miles, but if Harris can play every game and develop a good report with Romo, then there's no reason he couldn't be a solid #2, behind Dez. And his constant presence would be better overall for the offense I think. |

Matts in all seriousness and not wanting to get in a pissing contest....what's the fan infatuation with Beasley ? Is it that the Dallas fan base is starving for a Dallas version of Wes Welker ? Look at the Superbowl teams. Neither have a Welker. _________________ A circle. The direction the Cowboys continue to travel. |
