I really doubt the Chiefs really wanted Foles. What makes Foles any better than MC or BQ?

Especially if they were trying to convince Dwayne Bowe to sign long term. Bowe isn't going to sign a 5 year deal because they traded for Foles.

You think Alex Smith is the reason Bowe decided to stay? How many 1000 yard wr's has Alex Smith had? Zero. Bowe is staying because he was finally offered a long term deal he liked. They probably caved into his demands because they were more reasonable than Brandon Alberts and they don't want lose either guy because doing so would mean the team with the #1 overall pick just got even worse.

Alex Smith has had success, and is miles better on paper than anything the Chiefs have or Foles.

And yes, I do believe that if the Chiefs didn't get Alex Smith, Bowe would have gone to free agency and gotten a deal that was just as long with much more money.

Anyway, Love William Moore.

I'll CMJ if we sign Moore. I expect Atlanta, though, to be trying to negotiate a new contract with him. They did just cut Turner, Abraham, and Robinson. Freed up some cap space.

Also, my pipe dream of signing Andre Smith died when we hired Chip. He doesn't really fit Chip's style of offense.....But I'd looovvve Vollmer.

Sign Vollmer, Moore, Keenan Lewis, and James Casey and call it a day.

That would be ideal for me as well. I also want us to re-sign DRC at a reasonable deal. DRC and Lewis would be solid. DRC was playing like one of the better CB's in the NFL until we lost our Juandamentals. Keenan Lewis and Brandon Boykin duo isn't going to inspire a lot of respect from opposing wr's, especially with "This is my bench, punk" Marsh as our 3rd cb. Nmandi needs to go.

I doubt he's a stoner, but I'm sure a lot of those dudes are pilled out of their goards.

Thought yinz guys had that description down to a science by now..all I hear is Dion Jordan being the ideal fit being able to cover and rush the passer at a solid level.

Not for sure we don't. We do know what he'll be doing if the coaches go with the "4-3 under" though.

Hahah that's funny...what makes you think he's not a stoner? He's the prime age to have grown up a dead head and whatnot..just gives me that slacker vibe who yearns to get blitzed (no pun intended, well I hope not anyways)..just look at Pete Carroll, dude's a public spliffer.

Our SAM will have to be a jack of all trades. No glaring weaknesses and can make plays. As for free agents, Ricky Jean Francois, Terrence Knightton, Steve Mcclendon and Sammie Lee Hill are probably best dline available.

Manny Lawson and Paul Kruger are the only ones fit for SAM.

Dline and DB are buyers' markets this year because there are so many free agents and it's also heavy in the draft. We should get at least one dlineman and one value CB. Most I'll spend on say Sean Smith is 7 or so a year.

We need 2 dline, corners and SAMs. Not to mention a safety upgrade, a starter at tackle/guard, depth at center, at least one TE, and possibly a QB and/or WR

Guys let's get away from any stoner type talk or any continued discussion of that nature, thanks.
