In other news, the following cornerbacks are still on the market.

DeAngelo Hall
Antoine Winfield
Marcus Trufant
Tracy Porter
Terrance Newman
Reshean Mathis
Quentin Jammer

At this stage would come in here and man a starting spot at #2, hopefully, opposite to Revis.

This is more like offseason talk...

I know I am late but I just found out Saints switched to the 3-4.....so who exactly is their dominant passrusher? Every good 3-4 defense has at least 1 good dominant passrusher, its like the building block to a good 3-4.....so once again....who is the Saints dominant pass rusher?

IMO the switch to 3-4 for them is horrible. Better for us

Not sure how the 3-4 will effect them but the main ones i know are Marquez Wilson and of course Cameron Jordan. Wilson should do a lot better in the 3-4, he did good in his stint at DE last year.

If Palmer gets cut in Oakland you think the Bucs will bring him in?

I still think they look at a young guy with upside to develop.

I believe we will take a look, and it's a good possibility.

I honestly think if Palmer doesn't get a chance to start somewhere, he won't play. Doesn't seem interested in being a backup.

I could see him going to a place with a shaky starter. Places like here, New York, Jacksonville, etc.

Nobody's gonna bring him in to be the undisputed starter.

newsflash for Palmer: If you're cut by the Raiders, it's time to swallow your pride and take what you can get.

Truth. If you're cut in favor of a rookie or Terrelle Pryor, it's definitely that time.

I would say those teams are in need same with buffalo. I would describe TBs QB situation Shaky with Freeman the man is a roller coaster. I think if we gave Palmer a 2 yr deal with a CHANCE to start I'm sure he would take it. Then if Freeman doesn't work out we have someone decent and the next year have Palmer and a rookie battle it out

That would severely damage Freeman's confidence. We either commit to him as the starter and bring in a strict backup or we make it an open competition that he knows going into it. The "well if our qb struggles you can start" card is never a good move because the starter is ALWAYS looking over his shoulder. I'd rather bring in vince young as a strict backup
