Both are fairly light in my eyes.
Yes, Jordan has the injury, but that doesn't effect my long term outlook on him.
All reports are he will be back by camp. |
for OLB, I take the 6'5 240 over the 6'7 241. Mingo is 2inchs short and is the same weight. could show he is little more compact and could have more muscle. Being that he will built better to take on all the contact. Another thing about his weight is he doesnt carry his weight consistently. They said his weight at Oregon will be all over the place and played at times in the 220s. Being 6'7 220 is not going to create durability and we see it with his injury. They say jordan is hoping to show up at the combine at 250lbs. If he shows up at the combine at tht weight and looks great it will really show his work ethic.
I really want to see their measurements, specially in hand size and arm length _________________

Great minds think alike
I approve |
Take Jones off and I agree lol
Actually
The only 2 i'd even CONSIDER at 6 are Moore and Jordan.
I think we end up with Milliner anyways.
We always miss on our guys.
Starand Moore will be gone. |
Jordan @6......really Nug. I'd rate him some where form 5th to 7th out of the 8 _________________ The Dawgpounds new three headed monster!

Pretty hard for me to elimate the other top potential 34 OLB players, before everybody gets a better look at them at the combine. _________________

So your going off how these guys played in the 43 to rate them on how they would play in the 34. With no Combine and LB drills.
And Yes I know Jones played in the 34 as did Ansah and Jordan played in the 52. Wasn't talking about them. _________________ The Dawgpounds new three headed monster!

Moore: Fo Sho. I love the guy and will do a little happy dance if he's there at 6.
Werner: I'm on the fence, I think he can do it but he'd be better at 4-3 DE.
Mingo: Don't like him at six, would be fine in a trade down to 11-20 range.
Montgomery: I don't think he would work out as an OLB, needs to be a DE.
Okafor: He's the late riser I'm most interested in because I really think he might end up being significantly better working in space than he would be as a pure pass rusher.
Ansah: Extremely intriguing, would love him if we could move down and pick up a 2nd +, but I think he's too much of a risk at #6.
Jones: I like him, but the medical issues are extremely concerning. I would basically need to hear that his issues had been overplayed in order to be okay with him at 6.
Jordan: I think he could be the most unique player in the draft and would be like candy for a DC like Horton who likes using a bunch of weird formations. I could so see Jordan lining up at SS for a few snaps a game and rushing up the middle, he would also be GREAT at covering TE's. _________________

yes, IMO the combine is one of the most overrated things in football, running around in Under Armour and compression shorts offer very little _________________ 2013 Joe Blackburn HOF Award Recipient

First, remember please that the combine is much more than running around in tights....,
Some things.... Yes. I agree with they can be overrated. Other things are very important however. It's not the end all be all of course, but rather another evaluation tool that you use with everything else. Nfl GMs take the combine very seriously, that should tell you something. _________________

Werner is the only one I feel totally comfortable with right now. I think he's the best player in the draft. The others could go either way. Wouldn't hate trading down and ending up with something like oka for and ogle tree. _________________

game tape is far more compelling to me, we have seen numerous players go to the combine and light the world on fire and amount to nothing in the NFL, It offers a little but thats just it little _________________ 2013 Joe Blackburn HOF Award Recipient
