I know I'm going to get hate for the B. Jones pick!! This mock would leave us with about 13.6 Mil left in Cap Space, which is about right considering we have an extra 14 Mil carry over. I would be looking at possible June 1st Cuts at QB, WR, and DL.
I really wanted to spice it up a little and get a few guys I don't see named much out there. What do you think?? _________________

Look a little too weak at DE for my liking. _________________

Sammy,
I see you have my boys Wheaton and Hodges! I would say Wheaton is more than likely going to end up grading out as a solid 2nd round prospect. We probably need to pull the trigger on him no lower than middle second round if we traded down in round 2 or just grab him at the top of the second round.
The non-WR that I think could end up being a solid second round pick is safety Phillip Thomas. Based on prospect quality and position need, I would prefer Thomas to Wheaton and would be ok with pulling the trigger on Thomas either at the top of round 2 or after sliding down a bit. _________________

If steve Breaston is going to be our number one, we're not gonna have a good time. This is why we have to keep bowe, be it by re-signing him or tagging him. We cant take away a legit #1 guy for our new QB to throw to, it just doesnt make sense.
All year everyone was saying the only position we really need is QB, so why not just get that QB, and then add "extras". _________________

| Just don't care for Smith at QB at all. The fact that he faded at the end of the season and was pretty much a non-factor as a QB, worries me greatly. Even before the Senior Bowl, I was high on Manuel as possibly 2nd round pick for Chiefs. |
