Im just throwing this out...
I was a big fan of Brock Osweiler going into last season. He is being labeled as the QB to take over for the Brocnos but it looks like Peyton could play 2 maybe 3 more seasons.
I think he could fit very well in Chuds offense. If he would of stayed for his senior year, he could of been a sure fire first rd pick this years. He got to spend the last season in Denver working and watching Peyton Manning play the game and has had the chance to work and learn from Elway. He played this past season in a very good offense that could compare similar to what the browns. Strong running game, use play action, and stretch the field.
If the price seems right, I would love to trade for him. Young guy only 22years old. He is very talented drafted in the late 2nd. No character issues like Mallet, and has spent a year in a good organization.
what are your guys thoughts...its hard not to like him 22yrs old. 6'7 242lbs with a great arm |

well since he was the Broncos 2nd round pick just last year and is apparently being groomed for the future and is only 22, I cannot imagine the Broncos giving him up for any less than they spent on him. Since we do not have a 2nd rounder this year what would we have to give up to get him?
I do not mind the idea, but not sure how that would happen without us overspending or them deciding he is not the future, in which case why would we want him, or give up much to get him? |

meh. Denver will want way too much and he's not an improvement over Weeden imo. |

I can't imagine they trade him.
Manning has maybe one.. Two years left tops, and any hit he takes before then could instantly end his career. _________________

I'd rather have mallett in the long run over osweiler, and he would likely cost less as well. As for next year, I would rather have weeden than osweiler _________________

I was a fan of Brock Osweiler in the draft as well. I thought and still think he can be a top 10-15 QB in the league, but he's definitely not there yet. Plus, it'd cost us way more than I'd be willing to spend. _________________ https://www.chick.com/reading/tracts/0001/0001_01.asp |

I hated Brock before the draft.
Thought the Brocos overdrafted him.
Since they did overdraft him, they must think he's the replacement for Manning down the road.
Don't think they are trading him.
...Now, Kirk Cousins, he could be traded for. If RGIII's knee is ok. _________________ 2013 First Ballot Recipient of the Joe Blackburn Award |
