I have requested a trade with the Bengals for pick 37 and they get 53 and 118. Do you guys like that idea. It has no movement on their end but I wanted to get this out there for thoughts.

HOLY CRAP.
The Eagles took Jonathan Cyprien with their 2nd 1st round selection.
HUGE REACH.
I dont know whether to shake my head or rofl.

I like it, but I'd obviously rather wait to make the trade when we're closer to 37. We're still in the 20s.

Well they also have pick 35. |
Unless there's someone great the falls, I'd rather keep the picks. I don't see there being a huge gap in talent between the 37th pick and the 53rd pick.

quite a shock. I thought they reached on Jaiqwan Jarrett two years ago and it's proven they did. I too think taking Cyprien in the 1st is a major reach. I think he's one of the guys who's getting overhyped this year by scouts and talking heads because he's better than what they expected, but that doesn't mean he should be a 1st round pick. He should go in the the late 2nd or 3rd.

Not that I am the be all end all, but I dont see him being better than Shawn Williams from Georgia.
If they needed a FS, there were a couple of options there for them, but to take Cyrpien, don't know what they were thinking.

I'd agree with that because based off level of compeition, and tape, you'd have to go with Williams over Cyprien.
Shawn Williams reminds me of Michael Lewis or Bernard Pollard, the safety who was bigger (almost the size of a WLB) and played for the Eagles and 49ers, but they aren't cover guys. THey are run stuffers, big hitters/message senders for WRs and TEs who come across the middle and they are used as blitzers.

Wow! DaMontre Moore went 22nd and Keenan Allen lasted all the way to 24!!
The Rams "via" us and the Jets by trading up from Dallas from Indy got straight up steals and two players I have in the top 10!

We're projected to pick from 2-3 on on Sunday. Fortunately, I get off work at 1:30 on Sunday so I think I'll make it in time to be on when we make our pick!
