Can't see that deal being much more than laughed at.
Glad this weekend was slow, because I wasn't close to even available. |

I'd say something like a mid-late 2nd would be fair for Pierce or Oher, but I don't think I'd want to trade them unless we got a really good deal. _________________

Yeah... for some reason, I missed the part where TV112 was asking for an updated ERFA and RFA tenders... Raven5520 did you ever get around to sending that? _________________

Yeah, we just took Pierce in the mid 3rd and moved up to get him no less. So when considering that along with the fact that he was very good and productive for us this year and I can see no way we move him for anything less than a mid 2nd.
And I agree with Oher being worth similar value. _________________

Yeah, I don't know how I missed that. I guess it must've been paged and I didn't realize it.
But yeah, we probably should just start talking prospects for now... we have a lot of time on our hands until the Shark tank opens and we can go after our targets. A week to be exact.
In the meantime, I suppose we should make our final preparations for free agency.
Does anyone have any objections to us cutting OG Bobbie Williams before FA?
You have until... noon to post any objections... _________________

I would say cut him to give us a little more space to get our FA targets signed. It saves us another $1.2m bringing our Rule of 51 cap space to $10,219,892 _________________

Cut Bobbie Williams.
Did we already cut Matt Birk?
Ill update the front pages with all our transactions. Finally got some free time.
Also agree that we should talk prospects and contracts for our own free agents |

Wow. This is why I'm not really big into the FA portion of FFMD. It's just ridiculous and laughable.
I much prefer the draft itself, which is why I prefer FFMD 2 later in the year.
Edit: Whoops, thought I was replying right after drd's post, hence the arrows. Removed those. _________________

Agreed with both. But honestly, I wouldn't want to move Pierce at all. _________________

There was no official release of Birk. We talked about it on a number of ocassions but we held fire to see how FA plays out. If we need the room to get Ellerbe etc. back then we should release him or if he retires in RL before we are done with FFMD then we should release him. If we don't need the cap space then we could keep him to see how the draft unfolds for us. _________________
