When Denver played in the 3-4 he sucked also a very bad run-stuffer, rather roll the dice and go with Worilds. |

If we got him cheap and he was just a pass rusher I would be good with it. But he is going to cost a lot, the deal he had re-negotiated with the Broncos was for 8 Million I think, and my dead dog plays better run defense than he does. |

Agreed...and we'd never win a bidding war for his services, and if we did, then we'd have wasted money, IMO. _________________

That was in 2009 when Nolan was the Dcord. He had his highest sack season. However, the price tag will likely be way too high. |

Broncos switched to a 3-4 in 2009. In 2009 Elvis Dumervil led the NFL in sacks with 17, placed 3rd in DPOY voting and was nearly a unanimous All-Pro selection (46/50 votes)....
In 2010 he tore his pectoral missing the entire season.
In 2011, coming off his torn pectoral, Dumervil notched 9.5 sacks and was selected to AFC Pro Bowl.
Yes, 26.5 sacks, 2 Pro Bowls and one All-Pro (with serious DPOY consideration) in 2 years as a 3-4 OLB is terrible. He sucked in a 3-4. |

Its about 3 M, if we lose Sanders, then it goes to about 4.3 under.
Not that it would be wise, but releasing Keisel and Cotchery would free up 3.8 Million bring it to around 6.8 or 8.2ish if we lose Sanders. |

I've been thinking about it since the screw up. It would be worth the manipulation in my eyes if we got him for around that 8 million mark. Assuming he would want Kruger money at least.
Should get two really good years out of him. One or two pretty good then 5th year option, he'd be 34. Good timing seems to me _________________ Do something you love so much you'd gladly do it for free, learn to do it so well, people will gladly pay you for it. - Walt Disney |

He's an elite pass rusher in a 3-4. Why are people against it? I question where we'll get the money, but against it in general? Are you kidding me?
If we can afford it, this would be completely out of left field. His bad run stuffing abilities won't be a problem considering we're constantly a top run stopping defense. _________________ Come Follow The Great NSFL!

I'd rather take my chances resigning James Harrison for a smaller salary, given he'd be willing to come back. _________________ His name is David Paulson. His name is David Paulson. His name is David Paulson. |

Would he play behind Hood or Keisel? |
