Are you familiar with this class very well on the defensive side of the ball? _________________ Come Follow The Great NSFL!

KJ, you can co-DC with me if you want.
Its not like it really matters either way...everyone who voices an opnion on here is usually heard unless its something absurd.
The positions are merely a formality, for the most part. _________________

So anyway, some free agents we might want to target:
QB - Matt Moore, Drew Stanton, Tarvaris Jackson, Seneca Wallace
RB - Tashard Choice, maybe Peyton Hillis if he's cheap
WR - Greg Jennings, Devin Aromashodu, Plaxico, Steve Smith (the Ram, not the Panther), Chaz Schilens, Michael Spurlock, and yes, we might want to look at signing Mike Wallace since "he is who we thought he was"
TE - Martellus Bennett, Dante Rosario, either of the Ravens' TEs (preferably Pitta)
OL - Andy Levitre, Max Starks, Ramon Foster
NT - Terrance Knighton, Aubrayo Franklin, Isaac Sopoaga
OLB - Paul Kruger, Cliff Avril (probably too $$)
ILB - Larry Grant
CB - Keenan Lewis, Aqib Talib (ha)
S - Jairus Byrd
since this is FFMD, we might have some $$$ to spend on a higher priced free agent, so I included a few of those
Thoughts on some FAs are:
Batch (keep or cut)
Leftwich (cut)
Rashard Mendenhall (sign cheap or trade perhaps)
David Johnson (Cut)
Dwyer (cut)
Redman (tender)
Sanders (tender)
Wallce (sign if somewhat reasonable)
Pope (cut)
Max (sign)
Foster (sign cheap)
Legursky (sign cheap)
Snack (sign cheap if possible)
McClendon (tender)
Foote (vet minimum)
Stevenson Sylvester (cut)
Will Allen (sign cheap)
Keenan Lewis (sign reasonably)
Mundy (Cut)
guys I'd consider cutting outright who are still under contract in 2013:
Willie Colon
Brett Keisel
James Harrison
Ike Taylor

43, if you want to be DC, since he still needs scouts i'll be the defensive scout, we can bounce some ideas off each other on how you want to run the D, and i'll scout some guys for the draft on the defensive side of the ball for you.
Keth, yeah I was your DC in FFMD2.
I would do offensive coordinator, but I honestly am not well educated on that side of the ball. Gotta love defense!
Yeah, just wanna get involved, it was fun last year. I'll be 43's scout, thats no problem. |

As your capologist, I would like to say that most of this is a pipe dream. If I only have 2 restructurings to work with the best I can do is neutralize the 11M in dead money. my guess is that unless they change the rule, we will be trading Troy. Trading or releasing Keisel, Harrison, Colon, Taylor and possibly Miller. _________________

Snack (sign cheap if possible) let go
McClendon (tender) yes, keep
Foote (vet minimum) Maybe, see below by James Harrison
Stevenson Sylvester (cut) agreed
Will Allen (sign cheap) agreed
Keenan Lewis (sign reasonably) agreed
Mundy (Cut) agreed

Willie Colon

Ike Taylor
My three defensive guys listed here, I'd like to see the cap numbers before making a decision here. Harrison I'd like to move inside to be my thumper. I would really like to keep one of Ike or Keenan, preferably Keenan. Keisel will likely be expendable, although he would be good to rotate in.

Is everyone cool with switching to a 1-gap 3-4 alignment? |
