Yea I really don't see Garrett drafting a guy like him. Way too many problems going on with him.

Well i decided to go a different way in the offseason. I kept the tag and trade and even though thats not really possible I thought it would be cool to have a trade like that. Hope ya'll enjoy this one better then the first one

Not only do I think that Bennett and Byrd will be re-signed and wont hit the open market, but i dont think we would be able to win a bidding war in the open market if any other teams were interested (which they would be).
On top of this, i know it is a popular decision to try and tag and trade anthony spencer, but i dont think we would find many trade partners. Im not sure of the exact number anymore or how it would effect things totally, but i do know that if we were to put the franchise tag on him again that it will be more expensive than last time. If i remember right, somewhere around 11 million this next year? (anyone feel free to correct me.) Thats a lot of money and im not sure how much people will be willing to trade for that. Especially considering they still have to hope they can work out a deal after the season with him as well.
In a perfect world...or in madden....i would applaud this mock, but i just dont think its very realistic. No offense to you, it would be great if this happened. |

a second Franchise Tag would amount to 125% of his previous TAG.

I respect your opinion and I said that the tag and trade would most likely not be possible. This isn't a Madden type offseason but I did enjoy doing it and nothing I did is not possible. Most unlikely but not impossible. I can see us making other trades to have the same draft picks.
As for the free agents thats not out of the realm of possible either. We can work the salary cap in our favor knowing that the cap will increase next year.
Again thanks for the comments but I don't need someone telling me this is a madden offseason
