I personally am not against going back to back OLB's. Trevado Williams is still available and he's a sack machine in college. I also like Reed though at this point, not that I'm focusing on TE. He's just a solid weapon on offense at this point imo.
Trevado Williams, OLB.
Jordan Reed, TE.
LeVon Bell, RB.
Kniles Davis, RB.
Ryan Swope,WR.
Dwayne Gartz, CB.
Sanders Commings, DB.
Those are prolly the best players available even though maybe they aren't at positions of need.
For votes sake:
Jordan Reed, TE.- 3
Dwayne Gartz,CB.- 1

After reading a bit on Swope, he's got a history of concussions. Not to interested in these guys since the NFL is cracking down hard on guys with concussions.
Dwayne Gartz, CB. Seems to be the choice. |

| What should we do about William Gay, he's not on this roster anymore and I'd like to keep thing semi-realistic(if we know someone's not coming back he shouldn't be back here in FFMD imo.) |

Damn, we still should add a tight end soon. Don't mind the pick though especially after being put in a tough spot _________________

The Cowboys are interested in trading up to your next pick and have two fifth rounders to offer, #146 and #150. Please let us know if you are interested. _________________

We're up again real soon guys, next selection. I'm not too interested in a trade back, but if the staff is in favor I'll go along with it.
I personally love LeVon Bell with this pick. Physical runner on the inside and has enough to go yard imo. In the mold of recent Alabama RB's(Ingram/Richardson/Lacey).
| Quote: | LeVon Bell, RB. Michigan State. ( 6'1, 230lbs. ). 4.52 4-time. 24Bench.
1,793 rushing yards. 32 receptions. 13 total TD's, 12 rushing. |

We have two players up, both from Michigan State.
RB, LeVon Bell - 1.
TE, Dion Sims - 1.
Our GM has voted with Sims but I'm going to have to respectfully vote against him and vote for Bell. I'll select Sims if the vote is even due to AZP being the GM but I'm DEFINATELY not in-favor of drafting Sims at this point after having watched both every saturday on local t.v. |

| Quote: | Michigan State's Dion Sims looks more like a pass-blocker than a pass-catcher, but he has the athleticism and hands to surprise in the NFL. Besides having significant durability concerns, however, Sims also will have to answer scouts' questions regarding his guilty plea to a 2010 charge of receiving and concealing stolen property, a felony.
While the charges were ultimately expunged, they remain very much on NFL teams' radar, as is Sims' somewhat surprising decision to leave the Spartans early despite missing time in 2012 due to injury, the third time in the past four years in which he's done so |
These are my concerns with Sims.
A.) He's a blocker first, and King is already better than him and signed.
B.) He's not a better receiver than Housler, so he's not going to play over either unless we're in some-JUMBO package
C.) He's a physical blocker but the guy CONSISTANTLY gets hurt. He's no Deleanie Walker because he can't stay healthy, and well he's just not as good either.
D.) He's slimmed down for the combine, most sites/people/places had him between 280lbs-270lbs during the year. It's obvious he slimmed down for a slower 40-time.
Not too worried about the felony, kids do stupid things when they're young. An I like Sims, just not with Bell on the board and the need for a physical, durable runner with teams like S.F./Seattle and really even the rising Rams in this division. |
