I'm going to cut Tim Fugger OLB to get under the roster limit.
Unless anyone has any objections? |

I see shades of Aldon Smith in Montgomery. A guy who has really long arms and will be able to stack a shed at the NFL level, he has top notch athleticism in pads. Pass Rush is far more important than adding another piece to the offensive line, Montgomery is a borderline top 15 talent, to get him at this stage to me is a steal and a great addition to this team. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

one of the reasons I did not love the mallett trade was because I felt it would put us out the running for an elite talent who sliped. But I guess that wasn't the case...
nice job guys. I can why some would be upset about passing on Barrett Jones...but this was the right pick I think. _________________

I was personally thinking Montgomery in a 3-4 is more compairable to Paul Kruger/Ryan Kerrigan, but hey it's just perspectives. The more time passes and the more I read into things the more I don't care about his "red-flags". "Betting" on games seems bad from the surface but through reading further he often bet with team-mates on stats... so... idk. He did mention taking games/plays off during/playing weaker competition to keep healthy for the season. Red-flags? Sure, but I don't think it warrented a dropped this far and this sudden. He's coming off a major knee surgery less than two years ago, so the flexiability and burst might come back with more time/training.
The more I look at this selection, the more I like it. Barrett Jones would of been so versitile for the futher but, in all honestly, he could of not started with the line we currently have( Long/Warmack/Sendlien/Colledge/Massie ). |

Lumpkin and Taylor stay. Try to see if you can pair Doucet with a pick to maybe move up. Same goes with Beanie. _________________

Absolutely not this early. Doctors question if he'll even be ready for full practice by season end. Anyone taking him should plan on developing him/rehabbing him along and give him his shot in 2014. |

I was just throwing a name out there. Out of the three names you through out I like Reed the most _________________

I like him in the 7th but after reading about the injury I can't touch him earlier than that. Sad, cause he was a good player.
Lotta people like Reed. What are his strengths as a TE and can he win a starting gig over King/Housler? |

He has the size and the speed, could gain a few pounds though but I think he'll be fine. He fights for extra yardage and would fit in well with Arians IMO _________________

If we want to look Tight End I would wait until the back end of the draft and go for the kid from Alabama.
Would not mind going after Dwayne Gratz at corner. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's
