Free agency is two days away, and these guys imo, are just wasting roster spots. Idk what our plan is FA wise, or these guys really but they have my votes to just get cut.
| Quote: | WR: Early Doucet(Saves 1.75 million)
RB: Beanie Wells(Saves 1.72 million)
TE Kory Sperry(750k)
S: Kerry Rhodes(Saves 6 million) |
Rhodes is "decent" but he's no 6 million dollar safety and can be replaced. |

the first three are no brainers. I like beanie, but nobody else seems to want him here. And I can live without him.
And as the teams OC, I have to say...cutting Rhodes is a horrible idea!!!! _________________

It's horrible? Hmm, well why? I mean you don't think there is a safety out there in FA equal the talent of Rhodes? Cause I do... With half the price tag, or more, with likely more potential? An the free money can help us target a big name on the O-line. Which should be our newest biggest concern, and the draft shouldn't be the only consideration, we're going to miss out on good talent if we focus all our effort on O-line in the draft. |

Get rid of Beanie, Doucet (had the worst caught passes percentage in the NFL) and Sperry. Rhodes means a ton to the secondary. HAVE to keep him. I think he's one of the most underrated safeties in the game _________________

Cutting Rhodes is just...um...Stupid.
Did you guys submit anything for extending Toler? If not then you missed out on that one.
Back to Rhodes though; seriously, who can you replace him with that provides a significant upgrade?
I'll answer for you, nobody. You don't just go out there and replace a top 10 free safety with a click of your fingers. You don't go out there and replace a player of the ability of Kerry Rhodes easily. It is just not done. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

Greetings,
A few issues have arisen, and we are working to correct the issues. Estonianzulu has alerted us that he's going to have spotty internet connection for the next month, so as a result CWood21 is heading up FFMD. Also, TheVillain112 will be running free agency. Any issues regarding the general running of FFMD should be directed at CWood21 and concerns regarding free agency should be sent to TheVillain112 with properly titled PMs with clear thought processeses.
The timeline has been a bit lax due to circumstances that couldn't be foreseen, so as a result the timeline is being adjusted. Here's the new schedule.
| Quote: | February 7th- 10 PM- Tender/Closes for EFRA/RFA/Franchise Players
February 12th- 8 AM- Contract Offers Open for tendered players
February 13th- 10 PM- Contract Offers Close for Tendered players
February 14th- 10 AM- Teams able to match contracts for Tendered Players
February 14th- 10 PM- Unmatched players transferred, matched contracts final
February 15th 10:00 AM- Talent Agency Opens Tier 1
February 16th- 8:00 PM- Talent Agency Closes Tier 1
February 16th- 10:00 PM- Tier 1 Signings announced
February 16th- 10:01 PM- Talent Agency Opens Tier 2
February 17th- 8:00 PM- Talent Agency Closes Tier 2
February 17th- 10:00 PM- Tier 2 Signings announced
February 18th- 10:01 PM- Talent Agency Opens Tier 3
February 19th- 8:00 PM- Talent Agency Closes Tier 3
February 19th- 10:00 PM- Tier 3 Signings announced
February 20th- 8:00 AM- Shark Tank Opens
February 25th- 8:00 PM- Shark Tank Closes
February 26th- 8:00 AM- Draft Begins |
Any issues with the timeline need to be addressed ASAP to CWood21. Waiting until the issue arises will not help the cause.
Finally, we'd like to remind you that this is a group effort. Any staff member who is acting without the majority approval of his staff will be removed from his or her position after research into the incident. Consider this your final warning, regardless of whether or not you've stepped out of line before.
Thanks for your understanding,
Management _________________

Didn't do anything for Toler, No imput from posters, or Gm on a contract.
That's fine about Rhodes then.
I've been asked to seek out trades for Doucet/Wells before cutting them.
Dockett doesn't seem to have much value on the trade market.
So... seems like the only one EVERYONE has agreed to cut in TE Kory Sperry, so I'm going to go ahead and post it. |

is it to late to take care of Toler? without him on CB's are kind of weak in all honesty.
with Toler, all we really need is some more quality depth, without him, we need a lot more than depth. _________________

Yeah, but was a contract put forth. I haven't seen one mooted in here? I beleive at this stage he is going to be in the Shark Tank. Upside of this is I don't know if anyone has value on Toler so we may be able to get him somewhat cheap. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

OG Andy Levitre - CWood21 |
Should we be making a play at this guys? They're apart of the 1st tier of free agents so we'd have to get a contact, caproom, and pitch for why he should be a Cardinal by Friday. Personally think Andy Levitre would be a solid signing.
Eric Fisher and Andy Levitre would be solid on the left side, but, so would Jake Long/ Chance Warmack. Could possibly be just as physically dominate as the 49'ers. Going to cost some big bucks per year though to get either in here.
| Quote: | Official Rules
1.) There is no minimum # of years you must offer (1 year contracts will be frowned upon), but the maximum # of years is 5.
2.) The "market" has been set for these free agents. The AAV (average annual value) of these contracts are expected to be within 10% of this range. For example, if John Doe's market is set at 10 million, contracts with an AAV between 9.1 million and 11 million will be considered appropriate contracts and will be taken under consideration.
3.) Pitches may be no longer than 500 words in length, excluding the actual contract offer (see below). Pitch your city, pitch your team, pitch the role your player will play on your team, pitch your coaches. All things will be considered.
4.) The contract offers should be reported as below:
Player Name
Player Position
Years/Total Money, Signing Bonus, Guaranteed Salary
Year 1: Salary, Signing Bonus, Roster Bonus (if applicable)
Year 2: Salary, Signing Bonus, Roster Bonus (if applicable)
so and on so forth.
5.) You have three contract types you can offer: front loaded, flat, or backloaded. The raises (or declines in the case of the frontloaded deals) can NOT exceed 15% |
