I wouldn't let Yates go unless they pry him out of our hands.....its not like Schaub is made of steel _________________

Not that I was asked to participate, but... It's not like TJ Yates is good. _________________ Welcome to Houston, DeAndre Hopkins! |

Ya, but he has playing experience in big games and 2 seasons of learning the play book under his belt. _________________

Update and something to think about. We can re-sign just 1 of our free agents. However, if we are rejected in our bid we can try again until we get one re-signed. We can re-structure 2 contracts and extend only 1. We should probably talk and decide about our options for each category. Here are my thoughts.
Re-sign (priority order)
1. Quin
2. Barwin (Thinking about the recent rumor of moving Reed inside)
3. Casey
Restructuring targets (Potential money that can be saved)
Joseph (4.44)
AJ (3.56) but we have already re-structured him twice on this contract
Schaub (4.27) but his contract is already guaranteed this year. Hard sell
Manning (2)
I think Antonio Smith is a likely target for extension as a way to lower his cap number. _________________

Re-sign
(1) GQ
(2) Barwin (really ok with letting him walk b/c of cost)
(3) Casey
(4) Forsett
(5) Dobbins / Harris
Re-structure
(1) J. Joseph
(2) Foster
(3) A.J.
(4) Myers
(5) Manning
Extension
(1) A. Smith (FFMD)
(2) Cushing (real life)
(3) Sharpton

Quin is a must resign as long as the contract isn't like top 5 Saftey money

Discussion re: Yates
Team is interested. 2nd is too rich and they don't have a 3rd.
Possibly a 2nd for Yates & pick + another player
Thoughts? |

Not that much. You basically give your input on the defense and tell me what type of scheme you plan to run, etc.
We could have go DC's if its Ok with Pastor Dillon.
Biggio7 is the DC right now, but if you want to help out you could. I have no problem with that. _________________

| Quote: | A "friend" tells the Miami Herald free agent Brian Hartline hopes to earn an annual $6 million with his new contract.
The Herald had previously reported Hartline was seeking $5-$6 million. It's not an unreasonable request for a 26-year-old receiver coming off his first 1,000-yard season, but would make Hartline one of the higher paid No. 2/3 receivers in the league. That assumes he either gets away from Miami or the Dolphins sign a true No. 1 wideout. With the Dolphins so thin at receiver, retaining Hartline will likely be a priority. | per rotoworld |

I didn't see he was d coordinator. I don't need his spot. Give me special teams if it isn't taken already. Otherwise pencil me in as towel boy. _________________

All three corrections had been accounted for in spotrac already and match up with the sheet as far as I could see. _________________
