ok, we need to get some serious dialog about James Casey, we all want him back but at what price?
we can sign him, but it might cost us most of our remaining cap room to do it. do we want to move on from Casey and look at other FB options or what? _________________

The Houston Texans proudly welcome our newest ILB - Jasper Brinkley
Brinkley signed a 1 year 2 million deal to join the texans this morning
The 27 year old Brinkley recorded 97 tackles last season and should fit right in alongside Brian Cushing, and at the very least give us solid depth
we have between 2-3 million left to spend before the draft, once dsorc has a chance to update our salary cap ill give everyone an update _________________

Consider this your guys' official warning to your GM and staff. If you're caught bidding solely to raise the contracts and then invalidating your bids, you'll be punished by having to sit out of the Shark Tank for an extended period of time and/or further punishments as deemed fit.

Just an update on where we are
1. We went after Jerome Felton, and it appears the vikings were willing to pay big money for him, and instead of being a jerk and making them, we stopped bidding at 1.5 million
2. we have an offer in for Tom Crabtree of $750k He would be a 3rd TE, possible FB for us
3. We have an offer to resign OT Butler for $750k as well, which would be well worth it
4. we have done some bids on Hillis and might go up a little more yet on him, he would fill in the role of 3rd RB and starting FB, if we dont we are going to have to look for a 3rd RB _________________

Are we going to go for a CB (Routt?) in the shark tank? We only have 4 of them signed. I'm guessing S and DT will be addressed via the draft? _________________

We are looking at all options in FA right now, i want to be able to draft BPA for most of the draft. im looking at safeties, but we have 4 on the roster already, i think signing a 5th CB might be a good idea
we are still looking for a starting FB as well _________________

I wouldn't worry about a fb honestly, just draft one, also, I would try to sign a mid level corner to play nickel. _________________

We have made 3 more signings as we round out our roster
We welcome back Butler to be our swing tackle with a 1 year $750k deal
We welcome back Stanford Routt to compete with our CBs on a 1 year 840k deal
We sign former pro bowl RB Peyton Hillis to start at FB for us. I'm excited what Hillis can bring to our offense. He is a hard nosed runner who should be able to help us in short yardage, as well as a decent lead back. he is also a good receiver out of the back field, and should fill the void left by losing James Casey. His deal is 1 year 1.1 million
we are almost out of cap space, but for the most part we have set ourselves up to draft BPA in the draft _________________
