I don't understand this. We've wanted Jerry Gray's head for a while now, but surely there is a better option than this. Easily one of the worst offseasons in the league thus far. _________________

I'd give him a chance. Our defense was always pretty good with him here. Of course I find the whole "affect the head" speech ridiculous, but if he has learned his lesson and done his time, he should be allowed back into the league. _________________

Agreed. The comissioner will surely keep watch on him.
Surprised to see him up for a assistant head coaching job though. Big step up for him, especially after all the Bounty scandal. |

any chance he talks the Titans FO into Bernard Pollard? He's the exact kind of player he wants.
I really don't know how good of a def. coordinator he is. I mean his primary goal is to get his players to take out the best players on the other team. When the other team can't field their best players, their chances of winning is significantly lower. _________________

Well, as bad as it is, it's still better than Jerry Gray
Maybe getting paid extra is what our defense needs to actually play well. _________________

The first order of business for his suspension being lifted is joining a staff. _________________

Great hire. He can do some good things with those linebackers. _________________

No but Jerry Gray(current DC) worked under him before so it's a close relationship. Probably going to see alot more blitzes with Ayers and Brown which isn't a bad thing. _________________

| Aside from the bounty jokes this could be a good thing. They have some pretty athletic LB's so with the blitzing that Williams loves to do this could be very beneficial. |
