We would be the one to sign him... After being out of the league for a year. The guy is a monster on Defense. He could have been a HC once before.... But he has to acted up and pulled that stunt off. Maybe it's for the best. Hope to see a different person in him on the sidelines if he does become a part of the Tennessee Titans asst HC.

OMG!!!

This is, by far, the best news I've heard so far this offseason. I said it before...I'll take a disgraced Gregg Williams and his killer instinct over another season of Jerry Gray and his milquetoast gameplans any day of the week. Goodell did say that he would consider granting him an earlier reinstatement if there was a team willing to hire him. If any team can help be GW's road to redemption, why not us? We got good horses in the stable, we just need the right man to run them. If we can seal the deal with him, that will probably be the best acquisition this offseason. A 4-3 coach with ruthless aggression and know's how to call a game...I LOVE IT!!!

I'm on board. Also a bit shocked. I assumed the Titans FO was pleased with the defense (although no one else was) but this is a step (pretty major one) to try to improve it.

I'm not sure why we need to make him an assistant head coach though if we're the only ones in negotiations with him. That's a promotion from his title when he got banned.

Im happy about this move. I dont care that he put up money for the Saints i care very little about Bounty Gate. Hell i wanna put up money if our defense gets a sack. The guy knows football and he can help this defense hat desperatly needs help

I see what's going on here. Bud hiring Gregg Williams to get him to run another bounty scheme in hopes the league catches wind of it suspending Williams with Munch. Bud then can opt out of Munch contract for breach of ethics getting saving his money... Crafty move Bud crafty.

This defense needs to learn how to play with some fire and hate. Our only vocal leader last year was sat on the bench in Witherspoon. McCarthys always hurt Ayers and Brown arnt vocal enough YET. But im in favor of the signing if it eventually leads to Gray getting canned its a win win
