Hey Tylerdouglass, Care to expand? A single "NO" doesn't really help the other staff members figure out where you think the team should be going.
 |
This is a warning for making me look like a fool.
I don't like it because our use for Spears is smaller than Chamberlains value as a depth LBer and stud ST guy. Not to mention we'd be giving up a 6th. _________________

Ok let's bring back some activity here! We made an offer for NT Steve McLendon, which is currently the highest offer, but it seems like the Steelers will match it.
Our three RFAs didn't receive an offer so Galette, Ivory and DLP will come back for another year!
We won't be able to target one of the top tier free agents, but we should be able to resign some of our UFAs who should be solid depth.
Casillas and Daniel should be two of our targets IMO! |

I think going after these FA, I don't think they will cost much. With our cap situation do you think we can make some offers?
WR Donald Jones/Buff 543,334
RB Danny Woodhead/ 899,788
G Evan Dietrich-Smith/GB 565,000
C Brayn Mattison/KC 540,000 _________________

We will be able to make some offers, but out of these four players, I only would target Jones. Woodhead will get around $4 Million in FFMD and we have enough depth in the interior of the line! |

| Everyone fine with cutting Hartley and David Thomas? We could save nearly $3 million! |

I think David Thomas is a very underrated piece of our offense. Could we cut him, then resign him? I doubt any other teams will be interested in him. _________________

I'd do it. If we can't get him back, it sucks, but not a world ender. _________________

And at worst we can look at signing another TE via the draft/FA for cheap. He was mostly a consistent run blocker that could catch passes from time to time. _________________

I was thinking If were going to go all defense in the draft. These could help bring additions to the offense. I'm mostly big on Woodhead and Mattison. _________________

Should we look at Brandon Myers from Oakland? _________________
