What do you guys think about this Finley extension...
2013 = 1.5m (base) + 2m (s.b.) + .5m (misc) = 4m cap hit
2014 = 4.5m (base) + 2m (s.b.) + .5m (misc) = 7m cap hit
2015 = 1.5m (base) + 2m (s.b.) + .5m (misc) = 4m cap hit
2016 = 4.5m (base) + 2m (s.b.) + .5m (misc) = 7m cap hit
So a 4 year 22m dollar deal with 8m guaranteed. You guys think this too much or should we shoot for less...

I doubt that would get approved though... That deal would be similar to what John Carlson got last offseason... I don't know most people on FF hate on Finley so we might be able to pull that off. What's everyone else think...

Try the 5 to see if it gets approved, see why it was rejected, then if the only thing we have to change is the 5 go 6. I like how the numbers are similar to a smaller Greg Olsen contract.

Exactly. It could get approved if we gave 2.5 guaranteed every year. Try just the 5 first. We get multiple shots at offering him correct?
