Eh, I'm not too wild about Cave. If we can get him as a UDFA, sure, but he just got destroyed against NFL-caliber D-linemen.

Yes he like every Notre Dame player got abused by Alabma but you don't ignore an entire body of work because of 1 game. He has been a solid interior lineman for 3 years. He was on the watch list for the Remington Trophy his junior year. He is underrated, similar to Trevor Robinson last year and look what he did for Cincy. Plus we are talking about a late 6th round pick. Is that an area where you usually take a gamble on a prospect?

Usually, yes, but I think there are other prospects I'd gamble on before Cave.

You need to be more objective with ND players.

So who are we going to bid for with our last pick. Personally I like C Braxton Cave and NT TJ Barnes. But I'm good with whoever.

I like OG Earl Watford from James Madison. He played well in the EW Shrine game and had a meeting with Colts brass.

To me, Graham is a steal at this point but not as a full time back. I think he's better than his Combine stats. I also like Earl and I could spring for Luke Mardquart. My friend played with him at Azusa and says he's good FWIW

Seems like Watford is a name everyone is good with. I will check to see if anyone has put in a bid higher than ours.

Like the pickup of Ware, he is one of the elite defensive players in the NFL and could be as big as pickup as Luck for at least a couple of years. Williams is another good pick up as he is an up and comer at the corner spot. Ellis and Hampton gives them depth along the line with Ellis could possibly break out. Donald Thomas is a nick pick up along the o-line as well as Dobson replacing Avery at wideout.

Looks like we got a pretty good grade for FFMD.

Ready for FFMD II, now, definitely after our FA pick-ups!
