I think Sedrick Ellis. I really like the rotation of Redding, Moala and Ellis.
If I knew we were going to sign Ellis I would have been in favor of letting Moala walk. |

Howdy, Bengals head coach passing through. Do the Colts have any interest in Bengals WR Ryan Whalen? He's buried on our depth chart but has played well when given the chance. He came into the league as our 6th round pick in 2011 from Stanford. He had a good connection with Luck there and helped him be productive Luck's freshmen and sophomore years.
Whalen is a good route runner with good hands. He lacks top end speed but is a reliable possession receiver. My guess is that you want Luck to cut down his picks this year and a trustworthy receiver would help with that. Whalen is strong enough to play through press coverage and a decent blocker. His game is similar to Kevin Walter's but he's of course younger and cheaper. At worst he'd probably be your 4th best WR. Basically he should be worth more to you than to us but we're not inclined to release him.
We'd like to get what we paid for him, an early 6th round pick or better. If you are short of 2013 picks, we'll take a 2014 pick a round higher. PM our GM johndeere1707 if interested. |

| What does everyone think? Personally, I'm against it. We already only have three picks and I like our WR depth with Wayne, Walter, and Hilton as the three starters with Brazill and either Griff Whalen/Sambrano for 5th WR |

Picks are too valuable to give any up for an okay WR at this point. _________________

Pass on Whalen. I like where we are at. We improved most positions of need and the few we didnt upgrade we at least added competition for returning players. I think we are in a situation to draft the best availible player with our 3 picks. _________________

| I like everything we did except that Ware trade. I don't like losing Pat (I think his struggles this year came more from his broken foot than an inability to adjust) and I don't like losing potentially two first round picks. I like it even less in light of comments from Pagano which seem to indicate the Colts are confident in one of Jerry Hughes and Justin Hickman to step up and take over Dwight's spot. |

Push comes to shove, I'll be able to be on. I'm home at that time.
Btw, so far we've lost Travis Frederick, Terron Armistead and Barrett Jones |
