Anyone on the Redskins interest us? They asked if we like Josh Wilson or Hall but I told them we might be interested in a player at a different position as we just traded for Hall. _________________

And have him study Luck's two healthy legs? haha I totally agree on this. I'm not gonna lie. If I were in another mock, I would do a RG3 trade and give up the farm just to make him Luck's backup hahaha. Obviously my mock would suck but who cares.
Anyways, no to the Redskins unless they're fielding offers for Kerrigan or Orakpo. _________________

Not really interested in a whole lot on the Redskins. Everything that we could use will probably be a bit too pricey.. _________________ Building The Monster |

Hey guys was able to steal some hotel internet time!
Is someone updating our spreadsheet as these moves take place?
Im ok with going after Moala over Butler since we picked up Webster, however I would still like to pursue Butler during FA.
Davis
Webster
Butler
Vaughn
pretty good 4 in my opinion, could still use another one though.
Not too interested in Harper!
I do like Wilson but dont know about going that route..
I really would like DeAngelo Halls veteran presence if we can get a good deal!
Need to check on some Angerer trades, before they dry up! _________________

Webster (+9,975,000)
Total cap hit for 2013: 8,701,389 |
Was looking over the spreadsheet and noticed Saunders ($1.333.00) and Nevis ($274,556.00) had guaranteed money. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think we are responsible for that. |
If we cover their guaranteed money, Im sure NYG is suppose to pick up bonus money of Webster!? _________________

I notice some teams have the (1 UFA)player they intend to resign on the team.
I definatley think it should be Moala or Butler....
Might not be back on tonight, but maybe!
Also if we dont think we are going to trade and restructure we should go ahead and retructure Wayne and Redding.. Might as well save $3m rather than not do anything....
Im not adversed to still going after Nnamdi, but probably would just offer 4th round pick, with restructure condition!
Nnamdi for 4th round pick
or
Nnamdi, #35, #100 for #24
Both are pretty close in overall value!! _________________

Well I think we should wait until it's closer to draft time to restructure. I don't think there's a date we have to restructure I think (someone verify). If there isn't, we can wait to explore al trade avenues before restructuring.
I feel like Butler wouldn't get as much attention on the open market as Moala so......plus, to me the DL is most important after the OLB so I think we should keep him. Then again, i don't really know how he did this year.
They can take it or leave it with the Aso trade. As long as we don't give up more than a third, I'm ok with it. I don't think we need permission to restructure Aso. We just do it.
We take the cap hit on guaranteed money. NYG takes the cap hit for Webster's guaranteed money.
Might just be me, but ROman Harper is so overrated. He's been getting torched in every phase of the game since their Superbowl season. _________________

Alright, great trade! Two talented guys who dont work in our system and won't see laying time for a talented #2 CB. Hopefully Webster is better on #2 WRs, if we start putting Vontae on teams #1 like we should.
And 2 firsts for Ware?! No thanks! Even a first and second are just two much. He is 30.
If we get to sign one UFA I choose Butler. Round out the CB corps of the future. Moala is more expendable than Darius, IMO.
At this point we should drop the Nnamdi trade, barring some tremendous value. _________________

I agree if there isnt a time frame to do it!

I actually think Fili played very well before he got hurt! Was a huge loss IMO.

I actually would only trade our 4th rounder for him....the other trade values him at high 4th, where of which ours is later in round! Wouldnt mind not making deal for him either! If we do we need to put in trade if unable to reach restructure the trade doesnt go through...Saw another trade submitted with that clause earlier today!
We take the cap hit on guaranteed money. NYG takes the cap hit for Webster's guaranteed money.
I just want to make sure the money is correct!
Might just be me, but ROman Harper is so overrated. He's been getting torched in every phase of the game since their Superbowl season.
Agree he sucks!! |

Nobody hit the nail on the head.
-Aso talk should be history. Webster is fine as the CB2 playing with Vontae. I'm excited about those guys taking on the best that the opposition has to offer in the pass game.
-Butler, in my eyes, is a must sign almost. I think he gives us extremely vital depth and would be a huge asset. I'd be very confident in our defensive backs moving forward with him on the roster. Vaughn should be the CB4.. and nothing more.
-I can't wait for the draft _________________ Building The Monster |

Someone's gotta take a look at it. I updated the cap number and Corey Webster. His numbers were taken from the NYG page minus the bonuses and guaranteed money because NYG is on the hook for that. None of our ERFAs or RFAs are on the list btw.
I'm getting confused because I added up all the cap hits and got different numbers from our remaining cap space after subtracting. I've never been really strong with the cap stuff and I don't want to mess around with the Google doc that much. _________________
