What do you think about the restructure? Is there another guy you have in mind that you might want to work on one with?
Are we going to extend anyone? _________________

I think we made our splash move with Harvin. Lets retain our picks and evaluate our boards.
Can't keep trading away picks for vets. Going to be difficult to manage the cap and keep these guys. Harvin has one year left on his contract so that's risky enough to ink him long term. |

Mike Glennon
Matt Barkley
Landry Jones
Ryan Nassib
Should all be available at our pick. Anyone have any preferences? I like Barkley and Jones the most, not really sold on Glennon at all. _________________

I like Glennon, Barkely, Nassiv wouldn't be bad either. We cant afford to miss so Barksly is a safe pick, people overblow his weaknesses IMO.
We could move back ang get guys like Manuel/Jones.
Btw we cannot reconstructure after we tag Bennett, are we all still in favor of tagging him and taking the hit? all still in favor of using the resign on Barber?
We have 2 reconstructures and 1 extension, feel free to add suggestions there. |

it looked good to me, gonna need to talk to DRd he's the cap guy.
Mike Williams would deserve the extension more than anyone IMO |

Barkley could be the best pick. He's not as bad as scouts say he is, not as good as he was touted to be. Could be perfect for us..surrounded by weapons, could really thrive off our play action with Dougie.
We might as well restructure Mccoy and anyone else with a big contract..the restructures are unrealistic as hell around the league, so we might as well free up all the cap space we can. _________________

What about Bennett? Can we tag and extend him? That move would probably give us the most cap savings. _________________

If we're looking at QB, EJ Manuel is growing on me. I like the poise and confidence he has in the pocket. Like his athleticism. He's an accurate thrower whos been nothing but a winner at Florida State. Good feel for the pocket. Mechanics are sound. Listening to him speak and his command, seems like the intangibles are there.
I think we should give him a hard look. |

I don't think so

do we still intend to tag Bennett? |

Not overly accurate though..reminds me of just another Freeman. _________________

I think we should scan teams draft picks.
I know the Pats have no 4th or 5th this year. Maybe throw out an offer of our 4th and 5th for their 3rd or something along those lines. Having 2 - 4s I think we should be trying to get a higher pick out of it. Maybe package our 3rd and a 4th for a late second?
Should I start looking at some things or people not interested? _________________

I don't really wanna move picks without knowing whose on the board, but doesn't hurt to look. |

I'd rather collect picks in terms of volume, not so much higher. I'd prefer several picks in rounds 3-5 than one pick in round 2. _________________

I understand the value in this draft is in the mid rounds but I personally think having a higher pick is better and would be a bigger help to the team than a guy being selected in the late 4th or 5th round would help.
I would rather have say 2-3's instead say our early 4th and 5th.
3/3/4 sounds better to me than 3/4/4/5. My 2 cents _________________
