I'd rather draft a guy there.

Agreed. Danny Woodhead in FA wouldn't be a bad option either if we are looking for a change of pace back.

I agree with you all, a 3rd is too much. I'd be down for taking a look at Woodhead, like DRD suggested. He would probably come cheaper.

The 9ers 1st round pick isn't worth discussion?

Everything is worth discussing at this point. Do we have any idea what they would want for it?

I like the idea of trading back into the 1st, but only if there's a prospect that's fallen quite a ways down the draft board. The biggest knock on this draft is the lack of talent outside the top 20 picks or so, outside of a few positions. I don't know, what do you all think?

I tend to agree. IMO, it would have to be a draft day deal where we see a guy slip and we decide to pull the trigger on the deal.

Isn't the knock on this draft that there isn't really high end talent?

-No real high end qbs

-From what Mayock and others have said there is no corner worth a top ten pick and not many worth a first round pick.

-No elite running backs

It seems to be at least three rounds deep with solid talent.

-Oline class is deep

-dline class, especially dt class is deep

-wr class is deep

-safety class is deep

-corner class late first to ealry third looks real solid

Yea i am going to echo what everyone else is saying. I wouldnt be against moving up, but it would have to be to land a true steal at the pick.

I think we are better off trying to accumulate 2nd and 3rd round picks because that is where i feel the most talent is.

I think if we can go into the draft with 2 seconds or 2 3rds we would in a really go spot.

BTW the talks for a 4th and a 5th are back on the table. So i think we should decide if we want to go ahead and make that deal or not.

You could be right, I'm not really sure. I won't pretend like I know more about prospects other than watching games on Saturday, so I can't really speak for a good bit of guys in the draft. I've just seen a couple places that think there's only 20 or so players with a first round grade.

And I'm all for pulling the trigger on Sproles for a 4th and 5th.

Tramon Williams can be had for a 3rd. What are your thoughts guys?

I think we can find a guy in FA that can do the same thing Tramon would do for us. But i wanted to gauge your guys interest.

lets see who hit's FA first. We got money to blow, not worth it to waste picks.
