Feel free to sign up for a slot now. If you have something that you want to do, sign up for it!
We also need to decide what we're going to do with our 3 ERFA, and 1 RFA. They are listed in one of the first posts in the thread.
So post what you would like to help with and what we should do with those three. _________________

I was going to offer it up to one of the two others guys that signed up but if they don't want it it's yours. _________________

If you're going to have other positions such as President of Player Personnel, Head Coach, etc. I'd be happy to take one of those positions. By the way, rpm, congratulations, they made the right choice _________________

as someone who has watched FFMD's from their beginning, i'd like to remind the vets and inform the new guys of this critical poinit:
| Estonianzulu wrote: | Have Fun
The objective of FFMD is to have fun and enjoy yourselves. It is not a perfectly realistic off season, it is not a total fantasy world. We are attempting to recreate and have fun. If you are not having fun, tell me, and we will work to make things better. Please remember this in all your interactions in the forum. There are no “winners” in this game, only participants. |
too often in the past, guys have taken FFMD waaay too seriously and have knowingly cheated so to gain a competitive advantage. and then complained so horribly after being caught that they spoil the fun for others. i'm proud to say that none of these past problems ever came from MINN forum members. _________________

Exactly,
Thank you VD. They've outlawed chatzy (for a while now), chat on google docs, and "dead" threads this year. Codes are still valid, but I'll leave that up to you guys
I would love to just put everything out there on the table. If teams are going to come in here and try to "win" FFMD by seeing exactly who were are going after then let them.
The more open we are the more people that can participate in this fun event from our forum. _________________

I would love to participate in some capacity. Head coach, scout, etc. I have always found the offseason to be almost as exciting as the season itself. _________________

I offer my services, probably in the scouting department or whatever you are looking for. And might I say that I personally vote against having codes, sure other teams might try and use that to their "advantage" whatever that means in something that is meant as a fun time, that way it allows people who are lurking to be able to know what is going on, and enjoy the whole process instead of needing to become involved to understand everything. _________________ Gnat's Movie Reviews

I'd love to be involved in some way
I'm pretty new to this but if i could be an assistant to someone that would be great! Maybe assistant head coach or something. I would like a role where i can help but i can also observe and learn. _________________

Hi Guys
Please allow me to introduce myself (I’m a man of wealth and taste). I’m your divisional liaison for FFMD this year.
What on earth is that you may ask? Well, to quote our glorious leader:
| Estonianzulu wrote: | | If a player has an issue (With a GM, staff member, mod or mod decision or punishment) they will contact the liaison for their division. |
So if something’s going wrong – from a GM not being inclusive, to a rival GM spamming their trade block, or a rules violation/penalty is disputed , shoot me a PM (for our newer members, that’s a private message – found at the top of the page when you’re logged in to the forum). I’ll get back to you within 12 hours, normally much sooner.
Otherwise, good luck with the game and have fun! |

For potentially interested partys but dont know the critrea or positions or how they could help in some degree (little or big), can someone give us an example of what some of the positions would do.
Head Coach
Director of Scouting
Scout (2?)
My assumption is that each of these positions would put fourth arguments/discussion and information will be available on the forum for utlimately the AGM/GM to make the decisions. _________________
