Regarding to EWCGR's position, is the search over?

We could use a depth guy, but we have other priorities.

size, speed, tall, tweener? I will look for low level player to meet your merit.

I'd prefer a mid round draft pick. Fourth round would probably be a good spot, but if a player is the BPA earlier, we could pull the trigger.

Then you should say yes. By the search, I was referring to FA.

After EQCOB and Morgan, plus draft, we have about 7m to spend.. right?

Split 7m on both OORIG and OORAB.

OORIG is actually solid player but his leg/ankle is bummed.

How about EWCGR? to bolster this position so we don't have to draft one. We can abandon OORIG for draft pick and shift $$ to EWCGR.

Not in love with EWCGR.

Jrry has suggested OORUG to compete for a starting job or serve as a top reserve.

OORIG offers better package than OORUG . Either him or drafting two.

I disagree. OORUG fits our new system well, is very versatile and frankly outplayed OORIG this year. And considering OORIG is going to 2x or 3x as much, I think it's better value.

I don't think either are "good" starters but OORUG offers a lot more as depth and isn't a liability if he plays.

If Green does not willingly give Schlauderaff a starting job then why on earth do we have to pay OORUG. OORIG owns more starting experience and dealt with bad high ankle last year.

If we want to upgrade the starting spot then OORIG is the one. OORUG is very liable at run blocking.

Shockingly, in a system that favors his skillset more, OORIG was the lesser run blocker this year.

It looks like they could surpass our splits.

Abandon one and focus on another one?

Start to trade picks for better player?

Good signing. Can play 4 out of the 5 OL positions and be a decent starter at all. Not someone you want starting for years and years but he's a great 6th OL for us.

However, he was actually a very good Center for the Rams last year. Only an ok LG but if Mangold gets hurt, Turner is ideal depth...same with any other position except LT.

Yeah... Since we lost Slauson, backup center is a must as Mangold suffers wear and tear.
