No on Edelman for me $$. Yes on the lions trade |
Hes at 950 right now. Personally not sure with the concussion issue.
I think draft may be our best option. _________________

I think everyone is forgetting that Doogie Hooser is a proud New York man hore now. Maybe we should start using our local industry superstars. If anyone can help Boss. It's DOOGIE |

Realistically we spent a 4th rounder on Robinson last year. That's a high pick for a TE. I think we need someone to start just to ease Robinson in till about mid season.
I'm happy either way. Wouldn't be upset with Boss starting |

Agree with that. Ill make a bid at him.
We can still pick a tight end, but for now I want to have the position filled with someone solid. _________________

So here is the situation Giants Staff:
A post with a large number of bids was posted by your representative in the Linebacker Shark Tank - a post which included bids for Leroy Hill ($840K) and Jonathan Vilma ($940K). While the bids placed on all the other LB's in that one post were bettered, the Hill and Vilma bids were not.
That post was later edited to read, as it does now, "Invalid". Upon further investigation, it has come to the knowledge of the administration that this post was edited with the intent of invalidating the bids that were still standing "to get out responsibility for them". And yes, while that edit did come prior to the 12 hour time-frame passing, it was still an unethical move that violates the good faith bidding process that we expect in FFMD for fairness to all.
Having taken this all under consideration the Administrative Staff is allowing your staff the following options:
1) Either or both of Vilma and Hill can be kept on the roster at the prescribed cap-hit of the bid that was made (and is being enforced as 12 hours have passed since the bid was made).
2) Either or both of Vilma and Hill may be released from your roster (now or any time as this version of FFMD progresses), but half of the prescribed bid amount, respectively, will count against your 2013 salary cap as dead-money.
As I am tending the Linebacker Shark Tank until The Villain returns on Sunday, I'd appreciate you taking time to discuss this as a staff and informing me of your decision as soon as you are able to; I would like you to discuss this AS A STAFF prior to coming to any decision though so that everyone is made aware of what is going on.
Questions or concerns can be voiced to me directly (via PM; please do not Spam the FFMD General Discussion thread), but please note that this matter has already been discussed at length among the moderator staff and with your General Manager and there will be no reconsideration. These are the options that are being made available to you - and we feel the impact (at worst, if you opt to release both players, this is a fine of slightly less than $1m in salary cap) is minimal enough to keep from drastically affecting your FFMD.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Edit: In light of additional information brought to my attention, please include LB Kaluka Maiava to these names at the signed salary of $0.715m. Thank you. _________________

Lets just keep them on the roster. They would cost the same to keep then to cut anyway. _________________

Can't hurt to have an open tryout for our 3 LB positions. The best 3 will start |

Do not worry at all. You have done an AMAZING job with FFMD.
A few things did not go our way today, we just need to take a step back, breathe, and get ready for the draft. We have a few days to get everything together before the draft anyway.
If you really want take some time off and I'll pick up any slack |

Yeah. I think I will take a day off. Maybe that will help.
Here's where we are right now. We lead on:
OT Will Svitek
TE Kevin Boss
QB David Carr
Our needs left are TE, swing tackle, LG and QB.
We just got outbid on Kevin Boothe. Ill send you the budgets we can go up to via. PM.
Thanks for this, Acgott. _________________
