ERFA, RFA, and UFA from Seattle to take a look at:
We can resign ERFA for the league min $615,000 or release them.

A Restricted Free Agent is a player whose contract has expired but who can be “tendered” an offer by their previous team. RFA's will be assumed to sign their RFA contracts without hold outs. Tenders for RFA's can be in the following amounts:

Quote:
$1.26 million or 110% of Salary (Tender based upon drafted round)
2. $1.927 million or 110% of Salary (2nd Round Tender)
3. $2.742 million or 110% of Salary (1st Round Tender)

Seattle is also allowed to attempt to sign one of our own UFA players before they hit the open market. We have two options there imo

Here's my take:
RFA
LS Clint Gresham- Release (sign back later)
DT Clinton McDonald- Tender at original pick $594,000 (110% of 2012 salary)
FS Chris Maragos- Release

ERFA

UFA
OT Frank Omiyale
DT Alan Branch- My vote for who we should try to resign prior to FA
DT Jason Jones
LB Leroy Hill
CB Marcus Trufant
K Steven Hauschka

Everyone needs to vote

I agree with Alan Branch. Jason Jones would be my #2 choice.

Now that we have Taiwan Jones, I think we should. Jones is pretty much a younger Washington of sorts. Maybe we should try and shop Washington for a late round pick before we decide to cut him?

Yes to Jones.

No resigning Maragos? Pretty solid on ST, no?

Than vote for him to be kept. That was just my opinion.

So we have
2 votes for Branch
1 vote for Jones

And Dools needs to pick Laughing We can't resign both before FA. We can only sign one before FA and we can try and resign the other during FA.

EDIT
Should I submit the Zach Miller restructure?

Submitted the Zach Miller restructure but had to tweak it since apparently Misc Bonus can't be restructured.

Tentatively our cap is at just under 23M right now.

The Taiwan Jones trade can go through as is, but I am talking to Oakland about packaging another player or two.

I'm probably a no on Taiwan Jones. I guess I just don't see the need to give anything for a player that hasn't proven anything other than fumbling issues and injury issues. I feel like we can get a similar if not better player with that Buffalo pick.

Cool with everything else so far.

i don't think we'll find anyone near as explosive with that pick

Yes to Tawan Jones. Gives us flexibility and youth at RB. Washington makes too much if we can restructure or cut Washington it would help.

Resign Branch. He works well in this D. We can find more DL help in draft. Branch should stay.

I have been talking with RaidersGM about Tyvon Branch..If anyone wants to know details, PM me. I think he's a good fit for our SS position. Hits hard like KC, but has better coverage skills.
