Some comments after looking at our roster holistically:
1. If we are able to get Talib back (and we're going to try our darndest to do so) we could have a sick top three corners pending Dowling's health. Still need depth there, but that would be a nasty group.
2. People are probably going to disagree with me on this, but hear me out: I don't think safety is a need compared to other positions. Toward the end of the season, we played a scheme where one safety (McCourty) played deep and another one was responsible for sure tackling the flat routes and playing downhill vs. the run. I think that Tavon Wilson could be able to do that better than Gregory. He wasn't GREAT in deep coverage, but he's good enough to hold his own against flat guys and he only missed three tackles all year. Could we stand to improve at the position? Sure. But with Wilson playing Gregory's role, McCourty playing deep, Gregory spelling both and Ebner as sort of the nickel/wildcard guy, I'm not sure that it's as huge a need as some make it out to be. I'd still personally consider OT a bigger need.
3. We are RIFE with pass-rushing DTs. Would love to potentially unload one or two of them. Also, if we add WRs, I'll cut the little-known guys. They're pretty useless.
4. Nick McDonald is a nice asset to have: he can literally play four positions on the OL. I anticipate bringing in at least one more OL, but McDonald is a decent depth guy for sure, and Zusevics in a nice project.
Other thoughts, guys? _________________

Francis, Cunningham, Armstead, Fortson, and Bequette. I think I may look into shopping Cunningham for a mid round pick, at the very least. _________________

Definitely think Baquette and Cunningham could garner late round picks. Even 4th-7th picks. Better than cutting them for nothing.
Love that Snoop is our main focus. I think he did so much for our team where we couldn't do anything for years.
I would agree Rab that safety isn't a HUGE need but would still love to have a late pick spent on someone (24) has scouted. Are you speaking of addressing OL in dradt, FA or not at all?
Keep us posted Rab _________________

This is a team effort, and I'm not going to be a dictator. Just giving my two cents here. People can differ.
I definitely think we COULD look at OL in FA. We could look at S too. But we don't need another deep cover safety period. DMC and Gregory are fine at that. _________________

I'd still like to see an impact DT to replace Love as a starter. _________________

Definitely not opposed to this either. _________________

I think it's far more important than safety, possibly even OT (at least in FA). _________________

Anyone in particular your looking at Dhunt? I profiled a good number of DTs and I like Luke Danes and Angela chase _________________

Armstead?
Edit: I am also looking at CFL FA that could give us better depth on the oline and secondary.

added 5 new db scouting reports... I try my best to grade them based on limited gameplay from what ive seen... also added 40 times for some of them and the cost is what other gms have them as on the trade.
out of all the gys a scouted I have to say my 2 favs were Hall and Harper or Greer... They are good playing man to man.. which it seems like we are playin more now as we get good CBs..best part is we can blitz our LBs up the middle
Hey Diddle Diddle, Mayo and Spikes up the middle... |

Raiders have DT Tommy Kelly available. Your HC has rave reviews on Tommy Kelly. He would be a nice starter with a change of environment. We aren't asking for much either. We are also looking for 3-4 OLB's. _________________
