4. Justin Credible/Jim Ross

Dropped Hernandez/Jazz due to scheme questions and general lack of consensus respectively.
Credible fits well in the scheme we're implementing and is versatile in a way that is rarely seen. JR, like I said, could be a sleeper starter down the road.
Ricky Steamboat may be the best Evolution option. Included him because I wanted to at least entertain going Evolution here.
As aforementioned, I think VKM could excel in our system.
Eve Torres fits one last crucial spot I think we need to grab a developmental guy at. Like I said before, current backup there can backup the other side. |
Justin Credible is an interesting one. I wouldn't mind that. Jim Ross wouldn't be isn't too bad either. I'd take him over Jerry Lawler. But as mentioned, i have some reservations about the athletic ability there. Might not be an issue in the right fit, but i think we've already got a pretty significant number of guys at the position, though any of them would probably be an asset on special teams anyway, and depth never hurts.
Any of those guys on the list would be alright though given what's still available. And i think i agree with you on Rikishi. I really like the idea of what he would bring to the table like what i think sadjag is getting at, it's something we could certainly use. And there's a connection there worth exploring. But there is a flaw. Wouldn't mind the pick at all though, and he's on my list of guys left.

After talking with Sabo a bit, would you guys be down with taking Justin Credible at #121? Like I said, interesting skillset which is similar to Paul Heyman as well as a player on that team (the team that drafted him, not his college team). As well, gives us a few interesting guys at that position to build with.
Take him at #121 and hope people are sleeping on Eve Torres and a few of the other guys each of us have mentioned. Honestly, those guys may in fact be slept on. I haven't seen Eve Torres brought up much on this site which is a big reason I'm comfortable with it. As well, since it seems like more people on this site like Hernandez than VKM then possibly he slips to our 6th as well.
Our 6th round bid is the first selection so whoever we bid it on we end up getting.
