Not so fast.
Apparently Rob Ryan will not be the DC of the Rams.
They dissagreed on new Scheme and defensive plans.
not surpised, thought it was not the best fit for Ryan. |

Are there any DC positions still open? He may be watching the games at home with Buddy. |

He could wind up with the Saints or the Eagles, both teams who are looking to go to a 3-4. _________________

He probably would love to coach for the eagles, and get a chance to get revenge. Also, they look to have the better talent. |

Not disputing what you're saying, but I think I read where Romeo Crennel was the favorite for the New Orleans job. |

Quote: | Two years ago, days after he had the interim tag that preceded the title of head coach removed, the first person Jason Garrett interviewed to become his defensive coordinator was Fangio. The second was Greg Manusky.
Fangio followed head coach Jim Harbaugh from Stanford to the 49ers. Manusky was bumped from San Francisco’s staff and stayed in California with San Diego.
The Cowboys hired their third choice, Rob Ryan. He was fired three weeks ago and quickly replaced by Monte Kiffin, the 72-year-old architect of the Tampa Cover 2 who will convert the Cowboys from a 3-4 to a 4-3 defense. |

Not sure if it would have made a difference. Niners have better talent than Dallas on d. _________________ A circle. The direction the Cowboys continue to travel. |

Chris Mortensen @mortreport
After another visit Monday, the Rams decided Rob Ryan won't be defensive coordinator. Rams coach Jeff Fisher: "It wasn't a scheme fit." _________________
