KC_Guy mentioned the signing of former Boise State and Tampa Bay Buccaneer wide receiver Tyler Shoemaker. I thought I would post a little more information with a link to the article announcing the signing.
| Quote: | The Kansas City Chiefs signed wide receiver Tyler Shoemaker, the team announced on Friday.
Shoemaker originally entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2012, before the team released him prior to training camp.
The 6’1, 213 lb wideout was a four-year letterman at Boise State (2008-11), after redshirting his freshman season (2007).
He played in 50 games (23 starts), totaled 122 receptions for 2,031 yards (16.6 avg.) with 25 touchdowns.
As a senior, Shoemaker led the Broncos with 994 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns and tied for a team-high 62 receptions.
The Meridian, Idaho native was a three-time letterman in football and was named first-team all-state as a senior at Mountain View High School.

Tyler Shoemaker College Statistics
| Quote: | Boise State Pro Day: Shoemaker caught every pass thrown to him and posted strong numbers throughout the athletic testing. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.44 seconds, jumped 37 inches in the vertical, posted 9 feet, 8 inches in the broad jump, lifted 225 pounds 14 times in the bench press and did the agility drills in 4.25 (20-yard shuttle), 6.83 (three-cone drill) and 11.56 seconds (60-yard shuttle). “He probably helped himself the most,” the scout said. “He may have worked himself into a late draft pick, where most people thought he was a free agent before.” Said Shoemaker: “You have to kind of tack that pro day at the end (of a good senior year) to really prove yourself.” - Chadd Cripe, The Idaho Statesman

So he's got the athletic ability, the size, and the hands yet wasn't drafted and didn't stick on a roster. Seems like a red flag. Something tells me he's lacking big time in a key area or just doesn't "get it" as a WR.
We'll see, but I doubt he sticks. _________________

I'd be thinking STs guy in him. At his size and speed, if he's got some attitude, he could be really good. _________________

That's probably his best shot at getting more than a casual glance in TC to make the 53. He would seem to have more to work with than Zeke Markhausen! _________________
