Yes, really. I don't read the medical monthly journals so if I'm wrong on this feel free to correct me but I'm unaware of the research that shows a player contract capable of turning a walking, talking injury into a sturdy, 16 game player.

Exactly. A 1 dimensional north-south runner who can't stay healthy really doesn't hold any value.
