Did we want to raise it? |
Personally, I say no |
Are you prepared to go into the season with Crawford + Wilber as the starters and having backups who never has played an NFL game? Combined our defensive end group had 0 sacks in the NFL.
- That the Rams are prepared to offer more then 2.000.000 to re-sign him with Chris Long and Robert Quinn on the roster, shows how talented he is. |
I'm inclined to agree with the dane on this one....we need bodies and obviously we don't have a gameplan on spending the remaining ~5.5MM of our budget. _________________

Are we not interested in throwing out an offer for Shonn Greene? we need a backup HB capable of taking the load when Murray is injured..
- The highest bid on Greene is still only a bit over 700k on page 3.
FYI, I would still like us to stay in the bidding for Hayes even after the latest raise from the Rams to 2,5. |

Are there any other DEs with experience we could get cheaper? (I am about to go research myself).
Then we could even put a bigger bid on Steven Jackson. He is still a productive back given the right workload.
If we stick with Hayes at a 2.7mil offer, then lets go after Shonn Greene for cheaper. _________________
