Any interest in Troy Polamalu if the Steelers were to move hum?

He's obviously not the same player he was years ago and injuries have made him less impactful, but he's still likely an upgrade to what we currently have.

Honestly. No. I have zero interest in him.

Kenny Phillips is my #1 priority.

I think that some FA safety probably will be cheap, because I would think a lot of teams will wait and see at draft time with such a deep class. We might get a bargain, so I would stay away from trading for one..

- How much would we save, by trading Austin?

I'm heading to Miami for the weekend and won't be back til Monday, but I will try to post FA possibilities from AFC/NFC North before I leave today.

Also,

Brown are not interested in Ratliff, citing his salary as the reason.

But, they wanted to gauge our interest in Tank Carder or Craig Robertson - two LBs.

Also, they have Frostee Rucker on the trade block which would be a potential fit for our new line.

It sounds like we are not in favor of moving late draft picks, but here are a couple options if we were.

I am against trading picks for those players. I would be in favor of moving players for player or picks on their end though.

Maybe McSurdy, Connor, Sensy, Spears could be an option?

A little over $4 million I believe.

Oh, I think I got it confused with the amount we save for a restructure.

Hey guys...

My GM came up us saying you guys had talked about Tank Carder in a possible deal for Ratliff?

We're pretty much set on our DL, but how about Vickers for Carder?

I will need to discuss with the rest of my guys but a few of us were thinking it was a pretty fair swap.

I obviously don't speak for everybody, but I have no interest in Carder.

Phillips will not leave the League.

Also come look for trades in the Watchtower if you people dare.

I would need to see a late round pick added, for me to consider this. Vickers is a great player, Carter is unproven and was cutted by the Bills in TC.

- Add a atleast a 6th, and I would consider it.

I value Vickers higher than Carder - Vickers is a premium FB, Carder is a backup at best and might not even make our Defensive Rotation after the draft and FA

Not really interested in Carder. Not sure who floated the idea of Ratliff for Carder, but I would give that deal a big fat no as well.

Actually, make that a 5th + 7th (or just a 4th) + Carder, for me to be willing to take that trade. Vickers is simply just a much better player, and we have a lot of LB'ers who showed good play last season.

For the record, the trade that was being thrown around was a swap of Ratliff for 2 front 7 players from Cleveland - and I threw out 3 names in Rucker, Carder, and Robertson.

I also, would not trade Ratliff for Carder.

I also, would not trade Vickers for Carder. I actually see no reason to trade Vickers unless someone blows us away....he did a great job this year.
