Still have NOT seen any argument to refute #1passrusher>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> #2CB. as applied to #1 overall need.
The FA class of Corners has a better talent level than anyone in the FA Rush Linebacker class that could be considered a #1 passrusher.
The converse is true in the draft class. _________________ The Dawgpounds new three headed monster!

Maybe because you can not show any evidence that a OLB is greater than a CB, that cannot be immediately refuted with nearly the exact same logic?
FA class has better talent than any the FA class of 34 OLBs??? Show me the evidence to support that statement.
Opinion is great, but when you spout it like Fact I tend to disagree. _________________

DP I sort of agree that we badly need a #2 CB, but we are screwed if we don't get a stud pass rusher. _________________

Im not saying dont get one.... please by all means get one, via draft of FA. thats fine with me I just dont want Bademosi or Wade anywhere near our starting defense _________________ 2013 Joe Blackburn HOF Award Recipient

DP is right on it. Look at the roster people....
Wade/Skrine/Bademosi is an EPIC bad at CB if that is what the team is forced to play with...
-- especailly combined with the FS situation.
Gocong, JMJ, Robertson, etc. is not great but not EPIC bad at OLB is that is what is forced to happen.
hopefully they fix all the major the holes in FA and draft bpa. _________________

I ma not saying we need to get one over the other by any means, Both need to be addressed. But Bademosi or wade starting at CB could upgrade the factory of sadness into the corporation of sadness.... _________________ 2013 Joe Blackburn HOF Award Recipient

If we have to start JMJ or Robertson at OLB we are going to get steam rolled. They are purely ILBs. _________________

Gocong easily has the size, played outside in a 43 for the eagles and the browns, played 34 in Mangini/Ryan 34, and in colege was a pass rushing specialist at DE.
both JMJ and Robertson have played outside before for the Browns, and played inside and outside in college.
Neither are as big as ARI's OLBs, but JMJ is about the same size as Harrison and many other OLBs. Roberson would be strictly passing downs I imagine, not much different than before.
saying they will get steam rolled is a bit silly. _________________

When was JMJ or Robertson used as an outside pass rusher?
James Harrison is one of the freak exceptions. They call him silver back because his strength is ridiculous. _________________

When has any OLB only been used as a pass rusher? and I like how you keep skipping Gocong.
Harrison is very strong, but he is not the only 34 OLB listed playing in the 240s. _________________

| OLB is a hole no matter what while #2 CB is only a massive hole if we don't bring Sheldon Brown back. |

Like Candy said, if JMJ or Robertston start at OLB, we are in serious trouble. _________________
