Good hire, IMO. He was with Andy Reid 1998-2002. Also was with the Rams in 2011 so he's been in Missouri before. He was coaching some guys at the Shrine Game, I think. Saw him on the sidelines. Wonder if they waited to hire him until after the game so he could get a closer look at the players. _________________

Love the hire! I got the watch him a lot when he played for GB and his physical/technician type play I hope rubs off on our guys. _________________

I like the coaches with recent playing experience (ex. Deshea Townsend under Horton in Arizona). I think some of these guys can relate more to the players than some others coaches. I really like this hire. _________________

Outside of the pederson/sutton hires, this is shaking up to be a really solid coaching staff. _________________

Next to Reid those are the most important hires though. _________________

Like the hire. People get hyped up because he was a great ex player but that doesn't mean it will translate into coaching. Essentially what were doing is giving him a shot. If he works out, we could really have a gem on our hands. If not, no harm done at all. Like some have already mentioned, even if he can get more physicality out of our corners it's a big success. _________________

Regardless of his ability to coach and motivate, I love what this hire implies. Harris has always been regarded as an elite press man corner and since that's Flowers' best skill set, this hopefully means we'll be targeting another corner who excels in press coverage, man to man heavy schemes. That would free Berry up to roam, freelance and use his instincts/range to the best of his abilities. The question? Who are we going to target? Arenas isn't a great press corner. Is Millner an option we're realistically considering in the 1st round? If so, will we trade down, then use our ammo to trade back up & get a QB that falls to the late 1st? My mind is spinning with options and possibilities now. Oh, how I love the offseason.
I may be reading too much into it, but let me dream, dammit! _________________

Even if we went Milliner at #1, and Dysert / Nassib / Whomever in #2 I would be very happy. Reid will take a linemen over a CB every day of the week though, barring a trade back as mentioned. _________________

Better yet...trade down, get an extra mid-early 2nd and take Chance Warmack in the 1st. Couple our 3rd with our first 2nd rounder to move up and get Wilson, then use our other 2nd rounder on Jordan Poyer.
