Seems like he'll be tasked with developing Burris and getting the most out of Wheeler/whoever ends up playing MLB. I gotta say, big fan of all the experience on the coaching staff going into the offseason. _________________

He really has his work cut out for him. I think there may be more than a couple of young linebackers brought in. Rookies and 1st year players alike. There has to be some young blood added to that unit. _________________

TBH I wouldn't be surprised if Burris got beat out as a starter. PFF rated him as the worst 4-3 OLB. I liked him at SDSU but the guy misses a ridiculous amount of tackles. Wheeler did too at times but we're gonna need major upgrades. Burris had trouble shedding blocks. All he did at SDSU was play at the LOS so it worries me a bit. _________________

I feel you. I mean I'm willing to give Burris some time but he was a mid round pick so I always thought they viewed him as depth anyway. Wheeler plays high energy but not smart, but he'll have to do for now. _________________

Imo, if we were to switch to a 3-4, Wheeler wouldn't be brought back and it could benefit Burris. He was a productive pass rusher in college and i'd like to see him in that role in the 3-4. He'd still need to add some weight but that shouldn't be much of a problem with a pro weight program. _________________

He'd also need to tackle better. _________________

| our LB's are one of our biggest weaknesses, but luckily LB is one of the cheapest positions to address in FA |

Doubt he will ever be productive pass rusher in the nfl. I mean does he any quality pass rush moves to beat an NFL offensive tackle ? _________________

This game should definitely bring some lulz from the Raiders side. |

I'm not quite sure but i'd like to find out. All i know is he got to the QB in college and his measurables are pretty close to Clay Matthews. Matthews added 15 pounds since entering the NFL though. I think Burris needs to bulk up as well. And i'm not envisioning him as the main pass rusher yet. I'd just be intrigued to see him on one side with a guy like Damontre Moore, for example, on the other. _________________
