Here is my shot Trade down with team in lower half of 1st pick up a 3rd and 7th.

1. Lane Johnson LT
2. Datone Jones DE
3. Cornellius Carradine DE
3. Barrett Jones C
4. Tavarres King WR
5. B.W. Webb CB
6. Christian Michael RB
7. Johnathan Cyphrien

Few Notes: Historically C drop and I believe Barrett jones would be a steal at this point but do believe that its possible.

Tank Is Top 15 pick but think he falls due to injury

Tavarres King may have played himself into 2nd-3rd round pick at Senior Bowl.

I'd be surprised if Jones went before the 3rd round - he's unlikely to see any training camp or preseason time and could miss the first quarter of the regular season.

I think since we picked up Datone Jones in the 2nd, I'd rather see David Quessenberry (OG) in the 3rd to pair up with Johnson and Jones.

If you fix that one pick, I'd be happy with that draft.

Our offensive line would look like:

LT - Smith
LG - Quessenberry
C - B. Jones
RG - Bernadeau
RT - Johnson

A lot better than last year.

I can see where your coming from with Quessenberry but Carradine may end up being this years sean lee or bruce carter....with that said I think its obvious that our most pressing need is Oline!

Change that 4th rd WR to a FS and I would be cool with this! I like what Harris has done at WR, as well as Beasley and I want to see more out of Danny Coale. As long as we keep Miles, we don't need another WR, or at least not as nearly as much as we need a FS. I think Church will probably be good at SS, but I don't like Sensebaugh and we don't know enough about Matt Johnson to just ignore the FS spot. This is a deep class of safeties and have to get one!

Cyprien may have played himself up a couple of rounds, so I would look at him there. Like others have said, I would like to see a guard in there at some point, maybe in round three with Bailey, Jackson, or Thornton.

If Rat does or doesn't return we need a 1 tech. I'm ok with our de's , we need a dt. Right now I would take Brandon Williams 2nd round. I would go dt and og in the first two rounds.

Here is the problem I have with drafting damaged goods (already seriously injured players).

They are going to miss significant time in Training camp, preseason, and possibly the regular season. Which means their 1st year is a wash. It is an ajdustment, getting a taste, period for them at best. This means they are not going to have any serious impact until the 2014-15 season. By that point where do you see Romo, Ware, Witten, Spears, Austin, etc? You follow me?

If we are going to roll the dice again with our core veterans rather than trade them now while their value is high, then we had better be drafting players that can come in and start immedietly because our veterans will not be at their best by the time these "damaged goods" players get acclimated to the game.

I like the trading down and I love the picks, ONLY IF we are preparred to invest 2 years of rebuilding into them. And you all know what that means.
