Nearly every contract listed is simply too small and some way too small, signing 30+ year old players to multi-years contracts is a fail even if you like their name, the GB trade is just odd, drafting a repeat drug offender, and being a bit lax with draft projections seems rather poor to me... _________________

Didn't Gordon blaze in college? As well as a ton of other NFL players? I'm not saying we should draft Tyran but if we did I wouldn't hold his past against him. _________________

Contracts were based on 2012 signings by position. They may be on the low end but we have some money to spend.
AS for the 30 year old players...we have little to no veteran presence on our young team and the players listed still have much to give. I listen to every one complain year in and year out that we need to pass on Peppers, Woodson, and that when Ray Lewis was a free agent because they are too old. Get off it already...
Green Bay needs a back up to Rodgers like none other and McCoy would be a great fit in that system.
As for taking a risk on a 4th round pick? Roll the dice, you can't always play it safe. The kid can ball and if he get top 10 talent for that price you take the risk.
Thank you for your comments... _________________
