And switching to the 3-4 as well.
Do the Saints have the correct personnel for a 3-4 defense? Linebackers aren't too impressive.
I wonder who the go after D coordinator wise. Crennel? Ryan?
Overall, I think it had to be done. Worse D in history needs to be changed up. |

We have a lot of pieces that will work well for the 3-4. Junior Galette and Martez Wilson seem poised for the move to OLB in the 3-4 and Cam Jordan and Akiem Hicks move to 3-4 DE. I can see Lofton playing as an ILB, but we will certainly need someone that can play better coverage. Vilma struggled with the 3-4 in NY so he may end up gone. I think they can make it work. I was wondering if Crennel was still available.

 It's official we are running the 3-4!! My prayers have been answered. The saints have more 3-4 personal than 4-3

Hawthorne and Lofton should be fine at ILB. I think our front 7 benefits GREATLY from this move.

So I was laughed at when I said Spagnuolo deserves to be fired.....
Good for the Saints. Move in a different direction because what Steve was running there was clearly not working.

DE- Hicks
NT- Bunkley
DE- Jordan
Ellis is gone and Smith should be gone.
