If they can get a seventh out of T-Jack, they can gt something out of Flynn. Should be atleast a 4th. _________________ Trying is the first step towards failure

I'd be fine with a 4th round pick. KJ Wright and Robert Turbin are great players on this team _________________

There's no way a team like Jacksonville, Ari, Cle, NY and Im sure there are a few others that would give a 4th or 5th for him. _________________ L.O.B.- D!CK, BOOM BOOM, ET, BB. |

Why in the world would we cut him? I understand we don't need him, but we are not fighting the cap at all (and he is pretty cheap anyway), we have ZERO incentive to just let him go. This is dumb imo. _________________

I dont see it happening at all, but I do see some potential benefits if we did.
We would have to have a reason, and what I see that being could be this:
My understanding is his cap number is not huge, but it is not that small either. If we can open up that space, to make a run at a big time player, I am not against that (Mike Wallace, Osi, etc) and using it to extend some of our guys now. Just because we arent strapped now doesnt mean we wont be soon...especially if we continue this success.
The next benefit to me, is we have tailored this offense to fit Russells skill set. It took us a while to gel to get to this point. Flynns skill set is not the same and if he comes in, we are limited in what we can do IMO. IF there were to be a backup qb type that the coaches liked who fit more of wilsons skill set, I wouldnt be surprised if they would rather have that guy as his backup.
I hope we dont cut him and do feel there has to be a team willing to give something... _________________

If we move him, I'd really like to think it would be via trade.
While we're on the topic of backups, I wish Seneca were still around. This is an offense he'd actually be a very good backup in _________________

I agree. He won't get cut, at the least we have a solid backup in case Wilson takes a cheap shot on the run or something.
We'd trade him, then let Portis backup or take a more developed QB later in the draft. _________________

| This is purely a smoke screen designed by a team attempting to get Flynn and drive down the price. We have spent on back up QBs before. We are in good shape financially. He won't be cut and is worth at LEAST a 4th. We may get a 4th with possible 4-6th conditional. |

| I think we should probably ask for atleast a 3rd or 4th round draft pick for him. We wont cut him if we cant trade him. We would keep him as a back up if Wilson were ever to be hurt. I agree Portis would be a better fit for our team as a back up but were not going to just let Flynn walk away with zer comp for him. To many teams out there need a Qb and someone is goin to step up and take a chance with him. |

| Restructure his contract, he'll be better than most backups. |
