|
|
|
| Quote: | Dallas Cowboys starting nose tackle Jay Ratliff was arrested and charged with DWI in the early morning hours Tuesday after he crashed his 2011 Ford pickup truck into a 18-wheeler, according to Grapevine, Texas police senior officer Sam Shemwell.
Ratliff and the driver of the tracker trailer were not injured, according to Shemwell.
Police arrived in the 2800 block of East State Highway 114 at 12:36 a.m. to investigate a crash. Police, according to Shemwell, upon an investigation of the crash, arrested Ratliff after allegedly determining he was intoxicated.

So the backup Nose Tackle kills a teammate 2 months ago and the starting Nose Tackle does it 2 months later?! Idiot. _________________

People confuse the hell out of me.
The NFL needs to have a no tolerance policy when it comes to drunk driving. Suspensions need to be handed out to players to make them really realize the consequences for drinking and driving. _________________

90% sure that there is no difference and it is just a classification that differs by state. _________________

Let's not act that no one has made this mistake before. A person's worst moments are not indicative of who they actually are. _________________

It would not surprise me at all now to see Sharrif Floyd as our 1st round pick. _________________

could be wrong but i thought depending on the alcohol level can be the difference. so maybe this isnt as big of a deal. he could have got in an accident, then blew under the limit so they gave him a DWI instead of a DUI. but the article did say under suspicion of intoxication....so maybe he was really drunk or he was under the legal limit. _________________

He refused to take a breathalyzer at the scene of the accident. Was taken to the hospital for a blood draw. _________________

I better see every Draft mocker in this forum with a DT in the first round for us.
I wanted JRat gone anyway cause of his injury history recently and his drop in production PLUS his horrendous cap space hes killing.
Finally. We have a reason to let go of him. Jason Garrett definately won't tolerate this especially after the whole incident with Josh Brent and Jerry Brown.
Pathetic. He may have been a good guy before. Sure who cares. BUT honestly are we going to excuse him after HIS backup killed a guy on the team?
Guy needs to get away from football and figure things out. Our entire team went through alot with Jerry Brown debacle and he does this. Purely Pathetic. _________________
