Any idea on what the sack numbers were or how much stock we can really put into that i nthe CFL? I remember Cameron Wake being that kind of guy before MIA snagged him. _________________

Oooooou this is intriguing.
He's an interior pass rush guy. I think he had 6 or 7 sacks this year. Pretty athletic guy for the position he plays.
(Don't expect Wake or Hunt) He's not a pure pass rusher, at all. |

He had 6 sacks
22 years old. 6'5 300
For those who don't remember, he's the guy who had a heart attack in college and sued the school (USC) claiming it was due to being subjected to "mandatory" painkillers by team doctors
Might be a nice rotational piece, he certainly has some nice upside if his health issues are cleared up |

I really wanted him it's also harder to get sacks in the CFL because you are a yard away from the LOS as a DL and there is an extra target/more room for the QB to throw to. He lead the league for DTs and was DROTY. _________________

| this is almost enough to putting a smile on my face following the game two days ago (almost). I have to admit I have not seen him play a ton but everything I read is very positive. I believe Schefter said it is like getting an additional high draft choice into camp next year. Sounds like the exact kind of player we need. |

Between Demps and Armstead, somebody in NE is doing a damn good job pitching these kids on why they should come to the Pats.
Can we call him Arm Arm? _________________ Shut up, NBT |

| Very happy with this signing. Mentioned when they brought him in for a workout a while back. He could turn into a solid interior rusher and give the Pats some desperately needed push up the middle. |

According to the highlight video he recorded "6 sacks (7.5 US sacks)." Guessing people north of the border consider the half sack as antiquated as they do feet and inches. _________________

Outstanding, any help in the interior is welcome, at worst he might be a regular rotational player. _________________

After seeing a highlight video of his online he is powerful and has a nice spin move and a swim move as well. I think I may be getting way ahead of myself but Him next to Wilfork or as a DE opposite Chandler would be neat if Arm's game and talent translates into the NFL game. _________________

I'd say "at worst" he is cut over the summer. |

Completely false.
The CFL doesnt even have an award for DROY.
Armstead is quick, fast off the line and will be a problem for opppsing QB's. I am pissed he left but by half way through the season I knew it would happen. _________________
