I'm a little shocked. But I'm happy we get Fred back. _________________

Wow, win, win--Vinnie would have signed him for 5 years round $30 million.. Now he has to prove healthy and productive to get his BIG contract .. I like this deal.. |

Well it also shows his commitment to the team and wanting to win, so as long as he stays healthy and has a productive year, he will most likely get his contract. _________________

I can handle a year of Fred trying to earn a big contract. It's a low risk potentially very high reward move. _________________

It's actually probably just him wanting to have the best QB situation possible out of the Bills, Jets and Redskins on his 1-year-prove-I'm-healthy contract so he can best show case his ability... the Bills actually offered him more money. He signed a 1-year deal now so he can sign a big long-term deal next year. _________________

Glad to have him back and I'm glad it's on a one year prove it contract like others said. It's a win, win and it isn't going to kill our cap. Good move ShanAllen _________________

Good to know guys now think this is one of the best places for them to play because of Rg3 and they aren't just coming here to get paid _________________

I like the fact it's a year if he can stay healthy and play some what solidly then it's fine if he fails again we can dump so. _________________ RIP Macho Man Randy Savage - You were and always will be a legend

Billy is right.
Think about it. Who would you rather have throwing to you?
Redskins QB - RG3 (or Cousins for a few games)??
or...
Bills QB - ???
Jets QB - ???
Smart move for Fred and really a no-brainer when you think about it. _________________

The question is really, was he high and came to that conclusion or was he sober and had a moment of clarity that he will have a better season here in Washington than in the other 2 places. _________________

A one year deal? This iis perfect. Fred is gonna ball out this season in hopes for a new contract and if he does prove his worth, we'll be in a much better position to sign him to a multi-year deal. Does anyone know the terms? _________________
