Sanders Commings is a kid that I really like at that size. |
I really like Patton. I think he's going to have a nice career in the pros.
Again, I think the Vikings best choice of action would be to trade down if they have the opportunity. _________________

Can't believe we coached Russell Wilson at the Senior Bowl and didn't pounce on him like the Seachickens did.
Imagine a Kalil, Smith, Wilson draft . I wouldn't be suprised if he was high on our board, just not as high as Peter Carrol and friends. RW would have forced Ponder out the door just like he did Flynn but of course this franchise isn't THAT lucky. |

-Jonathan Cyprien might’ve been the best-kept secret prior to the Senior Bowl, but that no longer will be the case. Extremely physical, aggressive and instinctive, Cyprien impresses in the way he can man cover the slot or play in deeper zone coverage. The body type and quick-twitch element that Cyprien possesses may even push Kenny Vaccaro for the top senior safety slot.

Nice to hear about Cyprien. He is a guy I've liked for some time now. Has a nice blend of physicality and coverage ability to handle these new age TEs.
Quinton Patton has been great in both practices. I think He, Patterson, and Allen will be the only 1st round receivers. _________________

I'm starting to like Patton at 23.
Paul Allen also got early Patton steam coming out of winter park. _________________

Not the way he's practicing. He was a 1st/2nd round pick before what he's showing off at the senior bowl. _________________

I have Patton as low 2nd and I'm sure that at least 2-3 teams have him in that range as well. He doesn't jump out at you right away in looking at this class, but he does all the little things well and that's what you look for. He's consistent as well. _________________

If Patton runs in the 4.4's he's a first round pick. _________________

You or CBS NFL Draft Scout?
That's a fair opinion to have. Receivers in this class haven't had opportunities to distinguish themselves from one another. Patton and Wheaton have their first chance this week and are both making the most of it. _________________

I like a lot of these WR's but I am not enamored with any of them. Where are the big physical 6'3 / 6'4 guys at? Hell I have doubts that Patterson is as big as he is listed.
I wouldn't touch a WR in the first this year. The class is deep and there is a big chance that a good WR will be there in the second. I would be thrilled with Patton, Wheaton, and even Robert Woods.
The offensive linemen on the other hand are impressing me. Winters, Johnson, and Fisher are looking like 1st rounders and that is only going to push talent down. That isn't counting DJ Fluker who is a guy that could potentially play OG or RT. _________________

Winters looks far from a first rounder from what I've read.
He's going to have to kick inside to guard and he's struggling with it. _________________

A guy that I know UMN and I both like..
| Code: | | 89 Michael Williams Alabama TE 6056 264 **1018** 3268 8138 |
Those are some big mitts. He was used primarily as a blocking tight end at Alabama but he looks like he's got some untapped athletic ability. _________________

When I was watching they had him lined up as a guard. He certainly wasn't struggling. _________________

Hmm
| Quote: | | As for Winters, he showed the same hand strength and flashed ability to work in space, but his struggles at the point of attack on bigger nose tackles and his struggles to maintain inside leverage with his anchors proves he’ll need time before he’s an NFL ready interior lineman |

It indeed looks like he's shown talent, but could take a while to develop. _________________
