If we nab Ansah with the 15th pick, that'll give us Ziggy & Marley right??
Ansah = defense
Jones = offense
Jordan brothers would be a solid choice too. I think, however, Ansah offers more upside (although slight) than Jordan. _________________

As a 3-4 OLB Jordan's upside is way bigger, I don't think Anzah fits as a 3-4 OLB at all. _________________

All around DB. I think he was best playing SS but center field. _________________

Chad was more of a physical in the box SS... if he was to make the team I would look at it as depth behind Harper. I don't see Bush being a fit in the 34, he impressed in Spags Zone blitz scheme and I think that is the right defense for him.
FS, Jenkins-Quddus
SS, Harper-Jones
Might end up being the Safety situation in Nawlins next year. _________________

The coverage liability that IS Roman Harper between the 20s really concerns me. _________________

An improved pass rush will help him immensely. If we can get a pass rush, Harper will be fine at SS, if we can't get a pass rush, we'll need to upgrade. _________________

Harper did improve this year in coverage. I thought that Jenkins and his awful angles were far worse. |

True, but I think Harper was reaching his potential while Jenkins was underachieving. _________________

100% agreed. People overrate Harpers issues in coverage, watch the Chargers game. He had Gates on LOCK. _________________

LOL. An old, injured, worn out Gates. C'mon Harp, dude has been a liability in coverage for years. Not sure how you can say he improved this year in coverage. In my opinion, the only time he looked good was in the red zone, and that's probably due to the fact everything is compressed down there and he didn't have to run or cover as much space.
I think Jenkins is garbage. I've been holding out for years now hoping and hoping, but it might just be time to face the facts, he sucks. His angles are so bad that if I didn't know better I'd think he was cross-eyed. _________________

I'm not sure how you can say he didn't improve this year.
Was he a lockdown DB? No way. Did he have one of his better seasons, coverage wise? Absolutely. _________________

You can go watch numerous games, that was just a great example. Harpers one of the smartest players on our defense, the guy knows where to be which is why he had his best year by far in a ZONE coverage defense. He struggles when asked to play man to man but so do most safeties. Jenkins is far worse than Harper as a player yet everyone wants to give him a 3rd chance. We could upgrade both safety spots but Jenkins is easily the worse player, it's not even debateable. _________________

While I don't know what the next DC will want to do... I hope Harper is released in a cap cutting move and Jenkins is traded for a draft pick as the team just decides to go in another direction.
I say give Quddus his shot at FS and target a SS in the draft.
Im not a NFL draft value chart guy but the seahawks and 49ers each have 10+ picks this year but don't have the roster spots for them. I really believe those two team will be looking to move up and target quality over quanity and there is a chance for us to make a deal there.
moving down from 15 to the Seahawks 25 pick is a difference of 330 points on the chart. the Seahawks 2nd round pick (57) is valued at 330 points. That would be nice. _________________
